It hasn't even been a year and Çakır went from a model to a prototype with its own indigenous engines
Alpagut is the one going from 0 to 100 in few months, while cakir had sometime as 'OMGSF' prior to KTJ-1750.

Guys, I don't want to disappoint you but Mr. Demir said: "Cenk is a version of Tayfun". I think it is not a MRBM, like Tayfun, it is another variant based on Bora architecture. A kind of Tayfun with different guidance (active radar plus IIR) specialised to kill ships. That's my guess

Since 2012 to this date, we have heard rumours about a missile (Yıldırım 3) with a range of 800, then 850 and finally 900 km. Cenk is one of them maybe, and has different guidance which makes him so special that it has its own name.

You know in balistic missile development process, as time pass, you get different variants of the same missile. Like pershing 1 , 1a , 2. Or scud a, b, c an d. I have a feeling that we are giving different names to different variants.

Of course it may have more range. If it's an antiship, besides guidance, its warhead will be different, i.e lighter. Bora and tayfun has a warhead weighing 460 kg. Maybe cenk has a warhead weighing 200 kg. Then its range will be more than Tayfun. maybe 1 000 km

Let's make speculation on Turkish ballistic missiles:

Yıldırım (Inertial and optical guidance, 150/250 km range, cep: less than 150 m. in open sources, maybe less than 100 m later, 480 kg warhead)
Bora (INS/GPS guidance, 360/400 km range, cep: 50m. and 10 m. a few years later in open sources, 460 kg warhead)
Tayfun (INS/GPS/Radar guidance, 800/850/900 km range in different blocks, cep:10 m., 460 kg warhead)
Cenk (INS/Radar/IIR guidance, 1000 km range, cep: less than 10 m., 200 kg warhead)
Tufan ?

this is how our ballistic missile programe has evolved I suppose.

Edit: And Kaplan (INS/GPS/GLONASS guidance plus Laser guidance for TRLG 300, 90/120 and later 150 km range, cep: 10 m. warheads: 105/180 kg.)
indeed trg/trlg 122 and trg/trlg 230 are missiles too but kaplan and these are considered as artillery guided rockets like GMLRS.

Chemical , biological or preferably nuclear alternative should be available and given the situation, should be used without the hesitation. As I can see , there is not single rule respected, no scrupuol nothing really . Turkey didn't make world as it is now but surely Turkey should work and be ready for such situation. Those situations will undoubtedly arise in relatively near future.
not only with nuclear warheads, but also with biological and chemical warheads.
biological and chemical weapons dont really worth the hassle. they are blunt and kill regardless of friend or foe.
the new, emerging way of war requires knocking out air bases, logistics hubs, energy infrastructure and military manufacturing facilities of hostiles and hostile-aligned nations and turning them into irreparable, unrecognizable ash.
for that what we need is nukes. and A LOTTA napalm. ever-burning stickiest ickiest napalm the mankind has ever seen!

Alright guys, let's stick to the topic and not get lost in fundamental debates about chemical or biological weapons.

No indication whatsoever that Turkey wants to develop any of these weapons and break with its international
commitments. So pure speculation at this point.

However feel free to open up a thread about the topic, but lets keep this one on track.

In short.
About ABC weapons, nobody really wants to use it. It’s not a first strike weapon. It’s just for deterrence in the first place.

to what end?

Edit: A more appropriate question would be, are you actually suggesting to use biological, chemical weapons on civilians dwelling in the buildings? Women, children, elderly alike? Just casually bomb them with chemical or biological weapons?
Nukes is more preferrable as evident by the fact that all powerful militaries have them. Just make them in tactical sizes to avoid excessive collatetal damage.

With all subsystems intact the KTJ1750 has successfully completed it’s first extensive test.
KTJ1750 will power the CAKIR (MRAShM) missile. As well as targeting ships it will also be capable of hitting land targets. It will have a range of over 150km.

They are most useful in demolishing and erasing completely an entire carrier group with a single strike without much collateral damage as long as they are targeted away from ports.
Therefore if your adversaries know that you have them, they will think twice before coming close to the vicinity of your waters.
