I am not knowledgeable on jet engines but I have found 1500 N Turbomeca TRS 18-1's specs here.

While TRS 18-1 consumes 1.20 kg/h/daN (which is 33.4 mg/Ns as listed), KTJ1750 uses 1.17 kg/h/daN. What am I missing?

Well, KTJ-3200 has 1.20 kg SFC. Compared to that KTJ-1750 delivering much less thrust yet has almost same SFC.

And you are comparing an engine from 1970s with an engine from 2020s. I don't think that would be relevant.

Rookie mistake here. It is per daN per hour. This means KTJ-1750 consumes 204.75 kg per hour(1750N=175 daN, 175*1.17=204.75kg).

Çakır has a speed of 0.75-0.85 mach. This means it can travel 917-1039km per hour. If the engine runs for 15 minutes it will have a 225km range at worst and it will consume 51.18kg of fuel.

Çakır weighs 275kg without a rocket booster (air-launched variant). KTJ-1750 engine weighs 22.5kg(includes accessories). It carries a 70kg warhead. IMHO there is plenty of weight budget to carry a good amount of fuel.

Now we would like to see Çakır on the ATAK helicopters.

what excites me even more is as we know there is an ongoing project in which TOLUN will be launched from land with the hybrid engine of Delta V :devilish: similar to GLSDB (Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb) which uses M26 's rocket engine

MLRSs with TOLUN :devilish:

Advantages of Land TOLUN

-TOLUN has greater maneuverability compared to artillery rockets

- 360 degree target engagement with a certain amount of decrease in range.

Advantages of Hybrid engine

-Stop/restart and throttling

Why shouldn't we put the Ground launched TOLUN into MIDLAS?
TF-2000 will have 96 cells.
Wait Çakır would suit better than this.
Although Ground launched SDB has 150km range , Harpoon could deliver heavier warhead.

Does the altitude has an effect on consumption?

Means, the consumption and range depends on flying route (altitude ).
1.17 kg/h/daN is sea level SFC unless stated otherwise. It is also mentioned in the infographic as SLS (Sea Level Static, max rpm) so if you put 51kg of fuel and run the engine for 15 minutes Çakır will travel 225km at worst.

Let's say Cakir carries 80kg fuel. The range will go beyond 300km...

It can easily travel past 300km but I think this extra range will be used as loitering capability. And note that Çakır doesn't need to travel at Mach 0.8 constantly it will probably be able to throttle down to Mach 0.3-0.4 while loitering to conserve fuel. Çakır will probably have man-in-the-loop capability with a 2-way datalink for the IIR version and a data-link range of ~200km. There is a good reason why an EW version of Çakır is planned. The missile will have top-class endurance for its class.

Roketsan is underselling/sandbagging Çakır by a huge margin.
