“The main surprise in IDEF’21 was the cruise missile derived from the ATMACA anti-ship missile that could be launched from land-to-land or sea-to-land. The KJT3200 (KALEAERO) national turbojet engine, whose development has been completed, is 90 cm longer than the ATMACA’s anti-ship model that will fly with it when mass production starts soon. It will be capped with GPS, GLONASS, INS and terminal stage IIR (infrared imaging). Atmaca KKK 8x8 vehicle, which is too big to be carried in a fighter plane or SİHA, will be on the vehicle. However, when a ship or even a MİLDEN submarine is built later, it can be fired from a submarine with a vertical launch launcher or perhaps a torpedo tube like the Harpoon. For now, the range of the missile, which has been announced/designed to have a range of less than 300 km with the MTCR effect, may increase in the future. Thus, a medium-range cruise missile (GLCM/ALCM/SLCM) was born between the short-range SOM (T-SAGE) cruise missile and the ROKETSAN long-range cruise missile project (during the development phase, a turbojet engine supply was agreed with Ukraine). Since the missile, which will be tested in 2022, is ATMACA-based, it will not take many years for it to go into mass production.”

Written by a Greek author, this article explains in depth, what our TRLG artillery rockets are bringing to our army’s capabilities.
How TRLG-230 and soon to be TRLG-300 are becoming killer missiles for moving land targets as well as moving sea targets. (Their introduction, according to this writer may also be expanded in to Bora TRLG.)
These missiles with these seeker heads, can be used against enemy naval assets as well. This together with the use of UCAVs carrying them 24 hours a day will create No-Sailng zones around Turkish coasts in excess of 100-150km.
As they have high supersonic impact speeds, they will be carrying so much kinetic energy that it would negate the need for large explosive heads.

guess in some cases when needed even ULAQ type unmanned surface vehicles can be used as a Laser designator to call for a TRLG-230 strike against enemy naval assets :devilish:

But there is a problem .. the laser seeker require designator .. so either land elements or uavs has to illuminate the target ..ok the laser seeker are far cheaper than iir and rf ..but they require designation .. and with maximum range of laser designator ~30km in turkish uavs ..i think they will depend on gps/ins guidance mainly

Unmanned sea vehicles can already do this.

Where are those "fire" radars based?

Still your navy has to have Operational offshore warships with radars. It is also big risk.
How far could you detect a warship on the sea surface from naval radars?
Remember earth is not flat.

You can catch a warship on sea surface from naval radar maximum at 80-100km range .What if there were other enemy's warships beyond that range?

*most of IIR guided Antiship missiles have 200-300km range. For instance NSM, SOM.
* Not every Anti-ship missile has datalink capabilities.


Just relaying on your radars of frigates/corvettes is not smart. That's why there are AWACS, patrol aircrafts.


Combinating UAVs with existing warships' radars is very smart solution for naval search and tracking.

Can we assume that TRG 300 air launched version from F16 will be over 250 km?
Trg300 has a Range of 90-120 km
trg230 has a Range of 50-70 km
So if trlg230 when air launched goes 150+ km;
Pro-rata trlg300 should go 250+ km
Israel already using trg300 equivalent as “rampage” missiles. And it is said to have “hundreds” of km of range. That would indicate at least 300+ km range. (200 km should be couple of hundred, not hundreds)
Remember this missile doesn’t need as much explosive due to it’s kinetic energy when hitting targets. So you can put more fuel to extend it’s flight time and range.

What is the weight of TRG300?

Can the hardpoints of the wings carry such a heavy and volumous missile?

Depending on weight of explosives and fuel , between 585-670kg.
Israeli’s have strengthened the missile connection points of the missiles to the launchers and are using 4 of them per each f16. It is thought that the Israeli missile is the 585kg (with ~100kg explosive) version.
