Roketsan is/was part of the development. What’s happened? As we have no equal missile.
We shall wait and see, to my understanding they are working on a more effective (occupied space) system and no i am not referring to Aselsan's Hisar-Derin.

HİSAR DERİN will be challenging not only because of altered airframe and submarine launch but also targeting and data-link
Torpedoes are also guided by a fiber optic cable, so data link is readily available there. It is about packing and making the missile travel, surface, launch in the right angle and sequence autonomously, and keep the remaining section buoyant for data link to remain enabled.

Ooops, forgot about IDAS is fiber-optic connected. But again, the new airframe and likely propulsion section (dual-thrust or dual stage?) and a new flight trajectory as a result will still be a big challenge. At least ROKETSAN was involved in IDAS to some degree as people said.

Is Hisar Derin based on Hisar A+ or O+ ? If for example a Reis Class Submarine is hiding in the Waters between Libya and Sicily there will be no Air Superiority. Enemy air based Assest like Drones, Helicopters and MPA can operate freely to hunt for the Sub. It's better to use medium Range Hisar O + as base for Hisar Derin.

I don't understand hisar derin at all. Some submarines with VLS and ballistic missile launchers have air defense missiles to protect themselves when surfaced, MILDEN is not aiming for VLS afaik, so what good will a torpedo tube launched, medium range SAM missile achieve? Without a radar to back it up no less

The Sub can recieve Target Data from Datalink. From AWACS, other Surface Warships or Land based Radar via Datalink.
