Is there any multipupose tube on reis class submarines,I think all 8 tube for heavy weight torpodes or atmaca missiles,and mines,gezgin missile is another concept,huge missiles needs huge tubes.

In most modern submarines, including those of the Reis class, the torpedo tubes are typically designed to be multipurpose. These tubes can accommodate a variety of munitions, including heavyweight torpedoes, missiles like the Atmaca, and even mines.

The versatility of these tubes allows for flexibility in mission planning and execution. For example, submarines can carry a mix of torpedoes and missiles to engage different types of targets, ranging from enemy ships to land-based targets. Additionally, the ability to deploy mines adds another layer of strategic capability for area denial or defense.

While the specifics may vary depending on the submarine class and configuration, multipurpose torpedo tubes are a common feature in modern submarine designs. They provide submarines with the capability to adapt to various mission requirements and effectively fulfill their roles in naval operations.

Roketsan is/was part of the development. What’s happened? As we have no equal missile.

The IDAS Missile is based on IRIS-T, this Missile comparable to Hisar-A + & O +. I think it will not be a difficult task to modify Hisar Missile for a task like IDAS.

IRIS-T also can be launched from Eurocanards (EF2000, rafale, gripen)

We should consider adapting Hisar missiles to our air platforms.

We shall wait and see, to my understanding they are working on a more effective (occupied space) system and no i am not referring to Aselsan's Hisar-Derin.

I talk about an "All in one" missile. Launch from any platform, hit every platform. Hitting a satellite was indeed a superb capability.

Torpedoes are also guided by a fiber optic cable, so data link is readily available there. It is about packing and making the missile travel, surface, launch in the right angle and sequence autonomously, and keep the remaining section buoyant for data link to remain enabled.

Ooops, forgot about IDAS is fiber-optic connected. But again, the new airframe and likely propulsion section (dual-thrust or dual stage?) and a new flight trajectory as a result will still be a big challenge. At least ROKETSAN was involved in IDAS to some degree as people said.
