EDIT
The official given range is 100 mile, not km.

I don't know this guy and if Admins/Mods know more about him and think his claim is BS, then please delete this post.

"Gökbora, with its 250-kilometer range and 100-kilometer no-escape zone, has surpassed the European-made Meteor missile. The Meteor had a range of 200 kilometers and a no-escape zone of 60 kilometers. With these figures, Gökbora is a step ahead of both the Meteor and China’s PL-15 missile."

FYI:
The no-escape zone is the zone within which there is a high (defined) kill probability against a target even if it has been alerted. This zone is defined as a conical shape with the tip at the missile launch. The cone's length and width are determined by the missile and seeker performance. A missile's speed, range and seeker sensitivity will mostly determine the length of this imaginary cone, while its agility (turn rate) and seeker complexity (speed of detection and ability to detect off axis targets) will determine the width of the cone.

That guy is not relateable as @Pokemonte13 said but I sometimes think those guys are dumb enough to leak classified information. Gökbora's range is 100+ nms but they said they will not reveal the exact information because of classification. 250 kms is not far far away from 100 nms. So 250 kms could be the classified information or their range goal in mid-term, which is also a classified information. I would consider Gökbora's range somewhere between 185-220 kms (100-120 nms) at this point and a development goal up to 250 kms.

Honestly guy don't trust turkish media when it comes to weapons capabilities my best sorces are Defenceturk, Savunmasanyist, (Turdef) and Kaner Kurt

I'd add gdh to the list. Never seen them working out of media ethics.

That guy is the black sheep of Iskenderun.
One of the biggest BS talkers around with little or no technical background.
Please try to avoid sharing his posts here.

Strengthening Our Collaboration in RDX and HMX Production!

We have signed a memorandum of understanding with Konsept Piroteknik to increase the production capacity of our Energetic Materials Manufacturing Facility — inaugurated in 2021 under a public-private partnership model — by 10 times.

(gdh defence: With the new agreements, the annual production capacity will be increased to 500,000 kg.)

500 tons is a lot. It is enough for thousands of warheads.

Mk84 general purpose bombs have 429kg explosive payload. Mostly TNT is used as the explosive but H-6 explosive is also used when higher explosive power is required.

%45.1 of H-6 explosive is RDX
500000kg of RDX is enough to produce 2583 Mk84 bombs with H-6 explosive.
H-6 is 1.35x times more powerful than TNT.

Like i said in my post, i was thinking too that it could be bs. But since they were standing actually in front of the Roketsan stand, i was like, maybe they actually asked someone from Roketsan. But yeah it doesn't make much sense.

Isreal use this amount in less than a month sometimes. This will not be enough in an intense war. The production needs to be several times more. As it can be used in other warheads as well.

During IDEF25, we learnt that Tayfun Block 3 is the long one measuring 8 m in length but same diameter with the baseline version. (Then what is Tayfun Block 2?)

We do not want to start mass destruction or genocide.

No. Israel doesn't have such production capabilities. Most of the time MK series bombs are filled with TNT explosive (%80 TNT %20 aluminum powder). Overwhelming majority of Israel's MK84 are TNT filled ammunution similar to Turkish MK series bombs. I gave H-6 explosive filling as a means of comparison. Finally MKE will have 500 tons of RDX production, ASSAN has another 500 in GEPAT facilities, Roketsan has its own facilities and "Ahlatçı Savunma" is building a recently announced new factory in Çorum province. BTW, Turkiye has its own end-to-end production line solution from reactor to automation for explosives like TNT, RDX, HMX.

A Turkish firm is building TNT factory in the US.

Israel is a big importer of RDX. Defense industry of Israel has a big weakness. It requires import of raw materials to function. Steel, copper, chemicals, explosives Israel lacks every raw material.

Really interesting. So the baseline block 1 version is probably the one that hit a target 561km away this one probably has a 600km range. The lenghtened block 3 announced as a 800km range missile. Block 4 unveiled at IDEF is a completely different missile, block 2 is unknown, we can speculate as rumored anti-ship ballistic missile.

If Block 3 is just a longer Block 1, then why didn't they exhibit that too? Like what is the secret of it? Doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe it's not yet ready i mean a decent intelligence service would already know about it so whats the point of keeping it from the public and they should have given it a new name

Did they exhibit Block 1? Nope

This is what ROKETSAN officials said, adding that it was used in the test against sea target

Maybe because we have already seen it on video

Afaik they said it won't be sold to anyone
If a missile has a range more than 300km and can carry explosives more than 500kg, you are not supposed to sell it under MTCR (missile technology control regime) rules.
