Hey thanks. But there is still a problem for me.

There are multiple cameras. Only the high speed one/or the slowed down footage shows some kind of turn.

Either there is a shutter sync effect with other cameras or the high speed one has some artefact. Could you also convert that camera view like you did with the other two?

Yeah. it's the least clear footage of the sungur launch, could be a multitude of variables as to why we see it as spinning on that slow-mo footage, from conversion into 30fps footage - to the angle of the sun/launcher casting shadows. From the clear footage, we can see Sungur does not spin.

This is the part of the footage you're analysing

Excellent!

I tried to slow it down too:

Sungur comprises of warhead+canister+rocket part, if a booster is added would that be added as a separate part after the rocket ? Would we need to recalibarate the rocket to ensure better fuel efficiency in the different stages.

A RAM option would surely require fins for adjusting and steering towards the target ?

Sungur can't be considered as point defence system because it doesn't have data link capability. So the SUNGUR can't change course by ship or command vehicle once it has launched.

Point defence systems have data link capability which is called Command to Line-Of-Sight (CLOS)

Regarding RAM ( RIM-116) there are a lot of point defence missiles systems such as Sea Oryx (Taiwan) , Antelope(Taiwan), Sea Ceptor(UK) C-Dome (Israel), C-RAM Cheetah (SAR) , FL-3000N(PRC) WZ551D demonstrator(PRC) OSA-TOR( USSR)

Among of all those just RIM-116 and Sea Oryx are spinning entire missiles have fins.

Also besides rim-116 and Sea Oryx which use IR guidance , others have active radar seekers.

İf we take an example our Bozdoğan missiles which has CLOS and IR seeker it will be closer platform to RIM-116, however Bozdoğan is bulky.
Using Bozdoğan missiles on naval platforms, it will be copy of Antelope SAM or M48 Chaparral or MIM72

Another scenario if we take Bozdoğan and replace its IR seeker with Gökdoğan's Active-radar, it will be kinda C-Dome or Sea Ceptor SAM.

Fins disappear in every second frame and a longitudinal line appears, maybe it's a side effect of rotation too.

Is there any advantage of rolling of missile?

Creating RIM116 designers removed the wings to save space for naval platforms. İnstead of fins they used those stuffs. But with them the missile couldn't maneuver so that they made it it rolling.
Maneuverability is said to be advantage of RIM however other point defence missiles don't spin.

Look at legendary Tamir missile of C-Dome, flies directly.

Is there any advantage of rolling of missile?
Two reasons :
First one is theoretical and the second one is practical;
1. They tried to simulate the stability of flight of a bullet fired from a rifled gun. Rifling, irons out imperfections of the bullet surface and allows a bullet to fly in a more stable trajectory.
Idea behind Rolling Airframe Missile was the same. So after each course correction it was easier -theoretically - to stabilise the flight of the missile. But the real reason lies in second explanation.
2. As its name indicates, RAM rolls as it flies. The missile must roll during flight because the RF tracking system uses a two-antenna interferometer that can measure phase interference of the electromagnetic wave in one plane only. The rolling interferometer permits the antennas to look at all planes of incoming energy. In addition, because the missile rolls, only one pair of steering canards is required.

BOZOK Laser Guided Ammunition, developed by TÜBİTAK-SAGE, successfully completed its firing tests and started mass production.

> It has been quite some time till i heard about BOZOK but it finally entered serial production.

Ammunition Weight: 16 Kg
Ammunition Diameter: 120 mm
Ammunition Length: 80 cm
Miniature Design

- BOZOK Phase-I has a range of 10 kilometers. Thanks to the specially developed Tungsten multi-particle warhead, BOZOK will be very successful in anti-personnel missions.

I guess Bozok is set to replace MAM-C or at the very least be preferred over MAM-C.

bozok missile got target ıns gps and at final stage she use laser illuminaton ,laser warning sytems can not react on time that makes it more deadly

Instead of 4 MAM-L the TB2 is maybe able to carry 6 Bozok.

Keep things small and affordable to punch the maximum damage. You don't need F16's with million dollar missiles to destroy enemy tanks, destroy them at the most affordable way and the enemy can't keep up with the cost that war brings upon him.

the missile doesn't illuminate the target, the missile laser seeker follows the source of laser so you sound little bit inaccurate.

But aren't weights of Mam-c and Bozok different? I though Bozok is somewhere between Mam-c and Mam-l

Warhead Types
  • Tri-Mode
  • High-Explosive Blast Fragmentation
  • High-Explosive Blast Fragmentation
(First phase of development has one type of warhead,
further iterations could see various warhead types)
  • Tandem Effective Against Reactive Armor
  • High-Explosive Blast Fragmentation
  • Thermobaric

*Inertial Navigation and Global Positioning gives weapons ability to be used in all weather conditions - it also allows multiple weapons to be launched at separate targets simultaneously as the terminal-phase semi-active laser seeker isn't required to home in on targets. (downside, accuracy is reduced but within certified CEP)

she use laser illumınation by other source means from plane not byself

Mam-L has tandem anti armour head. Bozok does not. You need the explosive weight of the Mam-L to penetrate tank’s armour. Just check out #964!

There is constant laser illumination on target from launch to interception. Not as you said .
