Habib Farajollah Chaab, the leader of the opposition to the Iranian regime, who led the Swedish formation of the "Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz" (ASMLA), disappeared in Istanbul on October 9, 2020. In the investigation conducted on the fate of Chaab, who lived in Sweden, it was determined that he was kidnapped to Iran as a result of a trap set with the instructions and guidance of the leader of the crime organization Naci Zindaşti. It was stated that Zindaşti tricked Chaab, who had lived in Sweden for 14 years, with his ex-wife to come to Istanbul. It was revealed that Chaab came to him thinking that he was going to meet with his ex-wife and he was neutralized with the usage of drugs in the minibus, and then smuggled to Başkale district of Van and then to Iran. It was concluded that the leaders of the operation Turgay and Naji D. Sharifi Zindaşti's nephew F. Bakhtiar still have an active leadership role in the team that was determined to carry out that act and they are still conducting espionage activities against Turkey. In this context, a simultaneous operation was organized to capture 13 suspects in 4 provinces based in Istanbul on November 27. H. Y., E.Ö., Y.D., B.F., F.D. in Istanbul, N.Ç., D.A., E.A., M.F., A.F. in Van, and F.Ş. in Ankara. In total, 11 suspects were detained. While 9 suspects were arrested by the court where they were taken, 2 suspects were released on condition of judicial control.
