She is the main singer of that Youtube channel, I also dont know her name. Yes, she has a good voice and quite good to sing under Keroncong style melody.

I can say Keroncong style makes the song become more unique. Look like you have good knowledge about Indonesian music. Is Indonesian music quite well known in Singapore ? (you said that you studied in Singapore)

Nice man, well I dont know about all of that singer/musicians, definately you can be a good contributor in this section particularly with older generation music.

Good to have a best friend who is a well known musician, only one of my best friends who can play music instrument quite well (piano/keyboard), but he is now busy with his Padang restaurant.

Actually I also have a cousin who is a musician (saxophonist), but not famous, only play in a hotels, malls, or weddings. Musician is a gifted persons, some how he can play the piano very well as well, learning by himself using keyboard that he bought. He is more about improvisation than memorizing some note. I have guitar but never become an expert, although 2 of my older brothers can play guitar very well. In term of hobby, what I can do well is playing a basketball, particularly during my university time. Playing music instruments is not my things, but I enjoy music. Definetely my brothers music talent comes from my mother side.

Indonesian young musician now try to mix western music with Indonesian traditional ethnic music (Javanese, Sundanese, Balinese, etc)

Some of them like Weird Genious and Alfy Rev. The idea IMO is started by Guruh Soekarnoputra, one of Soekarno son who is good at making song.

Yeah I grew up in Singapore in my teenage years. High school I made friends with lot of Indonesians (t was an international school)...so I know lot of the culture and even pick up the language somewhat (Malay is useful in Singapore of course).

Couple of my Indonesian friends were quite good musicians actually heh. One was drummer, the other was guitar + vocal.

Indonesia, Malaysia etc, I hold them quite dear in my heart....Indonesia itself is so massive and diverse and I always wish it the very best.
