Russian company ZALA, manufacturer of the Lancet drones, unveiled its new KAMA marine drones in Kronstadt. The unmanned KAMA boat is designed for civilian and special missions. The marine drone can conduct hydrographic surveys, environmental monitoring, patrols, and security.
The drone is equipped with thermal imaging cameras and an automatic return-to-base system in the event of communication loss. The drone may also receive a new satellite link. The KAMA marine drone can carry a payload of up to 600 kg, has a range of up to 700 km, and operates autonomously for up to 12 hours at a speed of up to 55 km/h.

The Russian Northern Fleet has received the new Project 12700 minesweeper "Polyarny," which has already arrived in the city of Polyarny. Construction of the Project 12700 "Alexandrite" minesweepers began in 2011. Currently, the fleet has 10 ships of this type, with plans to build 24 ships in total. The minesweepers' primary mission is to detect and destroy sea mines in the waters of naval bases at a safe distance. Project 12700 minesweepers are highly maneuverable. The ship has a displacement of 800 tons and a hull made of monolithic fiberglass. The advantage of this "non-magnetic" hull is its greater strength compared to steel hulls, ensuring greater survivability when searching for mines. The Polar minesweeper has a cruising range of up to 1,500 miles, an endurance of up to 10 days, and a speed of up to 16.5 knots. The crew consists of 44.

Main characteristics of the Project 12700 Alexandrite seagoing minesweeper
