It should be configurable by customer needs.

What's more interesting is what i presume to be Roketsan anti submarine rocket system next to the 25mm gun. Looks like they also went for a more conventional 8x ASMs, with no room to add more.

What to do with 64 VLS if sensors are these? This is not a frigate, this is an obese OPV.

Agree. A 3600 tonnes frigate with 64 VLS doesn’t make sense. You’ll need at least 4000 tonnes plus for decent endurance

No ones been able to stop something that comes their way at Mach 20-something in a reliable and effective manner yet. That's why having nuclear-tipped ICBM's carries a special weight in the world arena.
Granted, Naval launched anti-ship ballstic missiles do not reach Mach-20's, but they certainly do go at Mach-5 and more (reportedly, in the case of China's YJ-21, Mach-10) therefore the argument sticks.

The problem with the Russian armed forces is not the equipment. Its the general culture of corruption and laziness stuck to it.
Vast majority of the Russian Armed Forces personnel is either drunk/high off his ass to competently do his job or corrupt beyond logic. Occasionally you stumble upon a lad who does his job like he supposed to do, like those lads who down Storm Shadows, only for them to get grinded away in the gears of the system.

I wonder how could the warship deter and destroy 8 USVs enemy if she had AESA radars?

Dearsan's new mini 33 meter submarine.

İ think it has just two heavy torpedos and weights less than 120 tons.

Again i have got a crazy idea. Putting LEVENT or GÖKSUR on STM 500 mini submarines. Why ? Because it has limited range under water. what if it is detected by enemy helis or patrol vessels while snorkelling?
Also those Levent/Gökdoğan/Bozdoğan could be used as antiship missiles as SM-6. İmagine STM 500 or Dearsans new midget sub suddenly attacks from LEVENt which has 3 mach speed.

Seems like there won't be ESSM but only HISAR RF D, when first testing MIDLAS from TCG Istanbul, so the most important question is when I class enters inventory, what will the VLS setup be ?
case 1: 16 Hisar RF D, no dual pack, no quadpack
case 2: 16 Hisar RD D dual pack and 8 SIper block 1
case 3: 16 Siper
case 4: 32 Hisar RF D, 8 Siper block 1
case 5: 64 Hisar RF D

i really hope we can at least have case 2
