Being autonomous Phalanx has different radars one for search and next one for tracking so phalanx doesn't rely on ship's radar.

Our 20mm CIWS works with Main radar so it reduces weight and shape.

But i have another question the new 20mm CIWS and 35mm Gökdeniz must be around 6-7 tons. The new 20mm CIWS doesn't seem lighter with equipments. So why new 20mm CIWS while we have Gökdeniz?

ESM is wrong. It is called Aselsan AREAS-2N. The difference between ARES and AREAS is that AREAS has electronic attack capability(Jamming). It is an AESA based ESM and high-power DRFM Jammer. AREAS is not offered to everyone like Koral but might become available in time as next-generation products mature.

So the Aselsan's MEHS EW suite or else the ECM part of AREAS-2N has been integrated with the ESM system and is one complete EW system such as the US AN/SLQ-32?
Before we had this (pics 1, 2) and then we have that one (pic 3) for both MEKO 200TNII and Istif?

Ares 2N is an ESM system

Ares 2NCL is an ESM system but it's more compact for use in FAC's and other smal vessels.

AREAS 2N (Sometimes called Aselsan MEHS) is an ESM/ECM combined system with phased array antennas and multiple EA capability.

AREAS 2NC is also a combined ESM/ECM system. But it uses Cassegrain antennas instead of phased array ones to be more economic. And has lower power consumption but lacks multiple EA capability and performance of a phased array system.

Thank you. Yes, I know these, but I am curious what are all these radomes on the mast and at the rear mini-mast. So, if there is one system that is for both EA and ES then all of them are intended for communications purposes (pic 1, I-class)? But some of them are also depicted on MEKO 200 MLU. Plus the AREAS-2N/MEHS at the top (pic 2)!

Domes are related to UAV control datalinks.

Don't let the prototype of MKEK mislead us. I'm sure we'll see a different radar.

IMO, MKEK should have only focused at making the gun, and perfecting it the rest (shape, architecture, radars) should be business of Armerkom&Aselsan.

PN Milgem, Barbaros and I-Class uses the common ESM/EW suite. PN uses the export version with restricted abilities both on software (library) and hardware end (power output).
The same suite will also take place on Ada-Class soon.

Offshore "Operation" and Patrol Ship. I think these ships can be armed quickly in crisis times.
