Greeks claim there is a balance problem because of Mk41s. @Anmdt do you think there is any issue?

The "report" is non existent, there's no such report.

VLS placement on Meko 200 is top heavy, that is known, it's the same for all cousins, same for decades.

It is known for decades one one batch of MEKOS (possibly Track I) can not be loaded with all quad packed ESSMs. That doesn't mean there is a "stability issue". For example see the Barbaros MLU, we have added a two masts and other systems on the upper deck and the ship still sails. But the whole thing is about CoG management (there are related terms in Ship stability, but irrelevant for the subject).

There are of course always crises and opportunities for those that dare. But, this is the same navy that "rents" a general use CN235 from air force because they don't have the availability themselves.

In an age of flotillas, hydrocarbon searches, constant pushing back and forth on our territorial waters, is it worth to lose an asset for 3-12 months?

Do we have to talk about the current leaderships decision making where economic gain(money) tops all other priorities?:unsure::unsure:

Just a quick question:

What is Armenian flag doing there? They are land locked. No Navy!!

(reminded me of the UK comedy “open all hours” of Ronnie Barker, who always told his illegitimate nephew that his father was in Hungarian Navy!)
thats lithuania

That's indeed Lithuania. Neptune Strike on this iteration was active on both the Med and the North Sea and Baltic. Armenia on the other hand do join some smaller exercises, usually in Georgia together with US, AZ and TR.

Yavuz and Cezayirli Hasan Paşa are planned to be preserved as museum ships.

Mavivatan reports both now have M/G suffix instead of TCG so they are already stricken? So Yavuz is open for TF2000...
Seems like the tweet was removed. Are they retiring TCG Yavuz?

EDIT:

Yes it was retired after forty years of service. So long old buddy 👋

I will always remember her with this picture on Savunma ve Havacılık (issue #3, 1987) cover.

Yavuz was the first ship I took a tour of as a child years and years ago. Will definitely visit that museum.

Marine/Amphibious Corps will have 3 brigades:
"As for the establishment of an Amphibious Corps in Çanakkale, such a decision was taken in accordance with the developing and strengthening force structure of our Naval Forces. In order to reorganize the Marine Corps at the Corps level, which consists of three brigades, and to use amphibious elements effectively in different regions, the Amphibious Corps Command was established within the Naval Forces Command."
Finally we have a patch for the new corps. 3 stars, and has the same motto as the navy itself, semper paratus, always ready.
