I honestly dont want to raise my hopes so high just so that I end up hearing an extra figure of 100 billion or something.

3 trillion+ would mean we would become an exporter.

First the Turkic countries around the Caspian Sea have to invest more in their Navy after that is done there is nothing the Russians or Iranian can do about a Trans-Caspian Gas Pipeline. Turkiye can sell Barbaros shore defense system. It will cover the entire area. Turkiye can also build corvettes and FACs for Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. Turkmenistan bought Turkish corvettes(Dearsan C92) in the past.

This was the last info I heard approx. a month ago. There might be another finding and upward revisions can be expected. There is a huge prospect in the area and it is very likely to find more gas at least as big as the 110 billion discovery at Çaycuma-1. In time Sakarya Gas field will reach over 1 trillion cubic meters of proven reserves.

Not yet. Drilling activities continue at the Taşucu location. It will probably take around 45 to 60 days to finish drilling. After that ship will probably anchor at Mersin Taşucu port for maintenance. Info mostly become available when the ship is in port.

A respected reserve assessment company performed 3D research of 13 previous drilling area in Sakarya gas field. As a result of detailed analysis, the previously announced reserve of 540 billion m3 was revised as 652 billion m3. Total reserve is now 710 billion m3 in this field.

Total amount of current found Turkish reserve is around 1 trillon $. More drilling wells are being studied. The reserve volume will be much more than 710 billion m3 only in BlackSea
