Amid rising tensions in the region, Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the surface-to-surface ballistic missile “Abdali,” which is capable of carrying both conventional and nuclear warheads up to a range of 450 kilometres, the military’s media wing said.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)on Saturday, the test was aimed at “validating the operational readiness and technical parameters of the weapon system.”

Unlikely that they actually panicked. India couldn't organise a sizable and meaningful ground incursion in less than a month. I don't see these activities more than just precautions.
GoI did not explicitly state they're gonna go on a military offensive against pak. The narrative so far has been about bringing justice to the victims and the perpetrators will be dealt with accordingly

and if India goes on the offensive, it will take time to mount any offense since the adversary is not Hamas but a full fledged military with nukes
Claiming 'Information blackout' is not realistic. Not in this day and age.
I don't see much coming outta India unlike pakistan where we're seeing videos of military mobilization. If you happen to have any info, you're more than welcome to share

Oth, it is possible the media blackout and bans aren't fully realted to troop movement and severing relations but so that people can't see what pakistanis say/do and get riled up demanding action
I don't think current stand off would extend to the land domain in any meaningful way. Definitely not the Pakistanis getting aggressive.

If anything happens, it would likely be in the air like last time, and perhaps also some missile exchange.
CFVs are happening on a daily basis ever since the incident, not just on LoC but IB too. These CFVs were predominantly of small arms but recent reports suggest exchange of artillery took place at a few locations

If a limited exchange was to take place, IN might not be involved but there's a good possibility for IA's involvement along with IAF
Next Bollywood movie plot.
This was recently posted by the FOG guy. These guys are not roped in to go on the offensive against India, SSG is definitely better suited for that but FOG might've been called in for PSO role

The differential between the Indian Navy and Pak Navy is huge. When push comes to shove, Pakistan either goes to the US or a third party to bail them out. Think Sharif running to Clinton or Pak going to ICJ after India shot down an Atlantique

While the rhetoric right now borders on the ridiculous, retaliation must be measured and struck when least expected - not when your opponent says “expect something in the next 36 hours”

In a viral video from Sunday, the imam of Lal Masjid in Islamabad—Maulana Abdul Aziz Ghazi—asks his congregation a startling question, “If India and Pakistan go to war, how many of you will support Pakistan?”

No hands go up.

A symbol of defiance against the State of Pakistan for a long time, Abdul Aziz pauses before delivering his verdict. “There are very few [hands],” Abdul Aziz says after looking at his audience. “It means many are enlightened now.”

The video, widely circulated on social media, shows Abdul Aziz denouncing the Pakistan military, accusing authorities of widespread repression, and claiming governance in Pakistan had grown more oppressive than that in India—a bold and controversial claim.

“Did the Lal Masjid tragedy happen in India?” Abdul Aziz asks, referencing the 2007 siege of the mosque, and subsequently, scores of deaths. “Does India bomb its own citizens? Are people disappearing in India like they are in Pakistan?”

Can't say my recent history of subcontinent is great, but wasn't the Lal Masjid siege against very fundamentalist talibanis?

I suppose the Pakistanis can bring it up with this preacher....an open discussion.
