Crash locations from what I read (from other places) are too deep inside India. It is unlikely PAF would try to penetrate Indian airspace while being on the defensive tonight. Any PAF jet shot down would either be in Pak territory or atleast close to Pak Border. (One image shows wrackage of MICA attached to launcher.)

It seems IAF organised a decent strike package in the first stage and penetrated PAK Defense as expected but then got its nose bloodied. ( presumably Loosing 1x M2K, 1x Mig29 and 1x SU 30)

According to the CNN live reports on the situation, Pakistani sources claim they have downed five Indian jets, of which three are Rafales:

”In a statement released to reporters, the security sources said three French-made Rafale jets, one MiG-29 and one SU-30 fighter jets were downed “in self-defense.” An Indian Heron drone was also shot down, they added.”

It will be interesting to see which jets are confirmed to be downed, and if they indeed manage to shot down the modern Rafale.

It looks like this is a short-term operation, like in 2019. Given Trump's now famous words "if I were president, this would not have happened", it is unlikely to escalate into a full-scale war

That would be more credible, as it would be the older Mirage 2000 instead of the modern Rafale.
