@Waz @Bilal Khan(Quwa)
Is there any updates on the progress of the first hull that is under construction in KSEW? That should be launched in January or even in December so it may have already shaped up.

Nothing at the minute bro, but with Pakistani defence news it just suddenly appears if you get what I mean.

Istanbul Frigate (F-515) has been floated to the pier, from the drydock in Istanbul Shipyard Command (Pendik Naval Shipyard) after installation of shafts (and associated parts), propeller and possibly some parts of the propulsion system.

Fitting out will continue at the pier, she will visit dock once more for installation of the sonar and rest of the propulsion system.

280, PNS Babur soon will be towed into the drydock to commence installation of the propulsion system.

So, i was browsing around the internet and i met the very first design iteration of Babur Class Corvette, note that it had 2 x STIR / AKREP , 2 x Chinese origin illumination radar , 2 x 8 Chinese VLS, 2 x 4 large Anti-Ship missiles, anti-symmetric placement of Ka - Ku / X band SATCOMs and RAM PDMS.

PNS Haybar (3th ship of the Babur Class corvette) block building continues, launching date is close.

Most of the assembly is completed, piping and cabling reached a stage, main mast and rear mast is going to installed as whole and its construction is completed, this the ship's steel construction will be whole in incoming weeks.

I think all will be the same, thus the construction moves rapidly. I haven't heard for 4th hull to be different than others.

Guess PN has dropped that request and they are moving on a separate project for ToT and Offset of PN Milgem, on Jinnah Class Frigate project.

I'm really confused by the terms "Jinnah class", and "Babur class".The only thing I understand is that it's 2 different projects.

Jinnah class likely to mimic istunbul class in some aspects.

Yes, you are right, I know that the Jinnah class will be similar to the Istanbul class in terms of tonnage, and Turkish sensors. I'm more familiar with the Jinnah class, but not the Babur.
