AKP is more traitorous than CHP tbh they didn't even fought against pkk till 2015 Their whole foreign policy is "WE HAVE ALLAH NOOO ECONOMY IS DYING NOOO" They tried to fuck up with other countries internal politics. Even still turkish soldiers are dying thanks to AKP I take chp against those apes called akp all the time
Certainly its true that the AKP pre 2015 used to be in cahoots with the HDP. However, rn the AKP are the ones butchering the HDP/PKK. Iam not saying to ignore their prior mistakes; However, rn, their main competitor (the CHP) wants to make the SAME DAMN MISTAKES as the AKP from before.
In other words, because AKP used to betray the country by allying with the HDP, you guys will kick them out and replace them with a party that supports the HDP? What amazing logic is that! This is just pure idiocy tbh. No wonder you guys are still suffering from internat unrest and no wonder the West can control your internal politics this easily

I will just leave a message to you Turks. "If the Turks dont learn from their previous mistakes and still ally with the HDP, then the HDP will learn from their previous mistakes so that whwn the CHP turns their back on them (just like with the AKP) The punishment wont just be a bunch of Turkish soldiers but possibly common citizens if not actual independence movement
If you turks wont learn, then the Kurds will learn. That is 100% true

AKP is literally threating turkish citizens with civil war who is more peaceful?
The problem here is that you will be saying the same damn words to the CHP 5 years from now
Then what have the turks gained from the position change?

Even Aksener is keen on making peace with Assad..............

Am I right in thinking that more people (mainly young ) support repairing ties with Syria?

I suppose its quite the predicament, on the one hand people use nationalism as a motive to 'send back Syrians' in Turkey, so 'Turks' can 're-access' jobs 'taken by Syrians' - who perhaps wouldn't mind the lower pay. On the other hand, there are those who use nationalism to back the notion of operations in Northern Syria.

Its a real shame, because for some reason, Erdogan doesn't see that Russia not only back Assad - who bomb's Turkish allies and even Turkish troops, but he fails to see that Russia continues to fly over Idlib actively targeting Turkish bases. Anytime there's an operation its always to push back Kurdish militias, rather than dealing with the real problem, Russia and the Syrian regime.

I mean look at this ^, Erdogan is desperate to enhance trade between USA (which is largely untapped - and can be source for export growth) but at the same time he criticises Biden........

"Erdogan says he will have a private meeting with Putin on Sep 29, no other officials would be allowed to join • We will make a decision on the fate of the Turkish, Russian relations. We will also discuss Syria • We haven’t seen any Russian mistake towards our relations".

And if you look at the real problem in Syria (Russia and Regime) he says the complete opposite. I mean what do you expect out of this "private meeting"? Putin is obviously going to do what is possible to re-take land (I wouldn't be surprised if Russian jets are in the air bombing Turkish soldiers at the time of the meeting).

Assad wants Idlib. Russia will do what is necessary to make sure that the rest of Northern Syria is retaken - imagine the political clout Russia would recieve for 'ending the Syrian civil war' and recovering 95% of Syrian land... That's why any cooperation what so ever with Russia is political suicide.....

Further, what does one expect to be the result of the meeting on Idlib?

1) If Turkey co-operates it mostly likely means giving up further land south of the M4 highway --> however, eventually you'd expect the SAA to demand more land (eventually give up the entirety of Idlib). This would certainly result in mass movement of over 3.5 million Syrian refugees towards Turkey.......

2) Turkey does not co-operate with Russia: Russia steps up its bombing campaign on Idlib, perhaps clearing way for a SAA operation in the south. This once again leads to wave of refugees heading towards the Turkish border.

  • Turkey must be willing to start a massive operation to take the entirety of northern Syria (to have control of the border) and then, reinforce this with land bases and a sort of "Iron Dome" system to intercept missiles of the border. Only then can one talk about settling of Refugees.....
  • Either that or you make peace with someone. Assad or SDF

Those liberal, socialist like individuals are no different than AKP and Islamists, they are the enemy of the Turkish Republic.

I really think that they want to stay opposition for eternity, just look at this shameless...
Kick those cryptos out Atatürks party, ffs.
The chronic problem with the CHP is that it has been heavily infiltarted by traitorous Western agents ever since Ataturk died
Now, after 40 to 80 years of hard work from the West, nearly most of the core members of the CHP believe in extreme Western values and believe that some sacrifices from Turkey are necessary to please their Western masters, as some might say
This is why I never liked the CHP at all
They will just plunge the country into a cycle of regression just to please shitty old France and US

I assure you that even if the CHP said that "mavi vatan" is a hoax and not an actual right for the Turkish people, they will still win
With the current trend, The CHP wont stay as the "opposition" anymore. Their victory is set in stone for another 15 to 30 years into the future

They are right honestly.

So retarded how they were dancing to waltz a german dance.

Where is the throat singing or the baglama songs.

Put in Turkish folklore dances or some high grade military music like Cedin Deden or this

Mecidiye March truly sounds like an imperial march from star wars now imagine Turkish soldiers marching to this!! I know its European but come on this is better than the retards doing German dances.

I want the military parades to comeback!!!

Only thing demirtas deserves is a bullet to the head.

This filthy terrorist is being promoted as the next MLK, Ghandi or Nelson Mandela.

Dont forget that Nelson Mandela once accused Turkey of committing genocide on the Kurds. Nelson Mandela was also a commie and a leftist terrorist.

If stand for anything you stand for nothing. Outcome of that kind of attitude we see today in west but everybody are forgerers of their own destiny, so to say. When i see in Munich on october fest for example that they celebrate with some anatolian dance i will stand corrected.
