there is no chance for Turkey to just remove Erdogan, but keep all his policies as they are in Syria, Lybia, Mediterranean, or Africa...even Northern Cyprus ...also selling weapons like drones without previous approval is another likely outcome....having in mind how Bayraktars are closely intertwined with Erdogan fam, i wouldn't be surprised if they all seek asylum in a country like Qatar...but at least Turkish people will live a little better...oh and all those foreign agents and gulenists will be returning

All these gulenists and foreign agents Karajlo talks about have never been gone from Erdogan's Turkey. AKP, Erdogan's close circle and all of their media prostitutes and religious cult leaders are full of foreign agents and "ex" Gulen cult members/slaves.

Our Bosniak friends maybe don't know (because they don't know any Turkish to start with too) but we remember- the archives remember well well who is who.

All of these so called purges after July 15th "coup" were mostly against regular people and people who needed to be removed one way or another. The purges were only used by Erdogan and his cronies to further their grip on power even more and for nothing else. And the results are seen very well today- failing economy, destroyed state institutions, total chaos and incompetence on all levels.

How fast you forgot Erdoğan's democracy war with Europe against Turkish Republic??

"At that time, Mr. President was imprisoned and we collected 90 signatures for the text we prepared for him with the support of the socialists and brought the issue to the agenda of Europe," Abdullah Gül said.

If Erdogan feel that is in real danger to lose elections he will stick out his son in law or somebody who has similar popularity, either way he will be step ahead of opposition all the time while he does politics.
i really do understand frustration of opposition supporters as their option is no match for him.

nobody likes his son-in-law. he can not nominate anyone
USD was about 1.1 trl and now 10 trl. but he says he is an economist. it's not even funny anymore.
people didn't care close co-operation with gulenists before the coup, agreements with PKK, corruptions etc. but people only look at their pockets. and now their pockets are empty as f..
no government can survive in economic crisis in Turkiye

2 years are long period, couple of months of full pockets and good presentation will make people to forget all hardships before, it is in human nature, so all those who are not satisfied and incline to the AKP will happily vote again and those are silent majority, no doubt that Erdogan as skillful politician will utilize this to the max.

Let's call things for what they are....what is happening with turkey currency is not crisis but economic warfare...the goal is tu influence upcoming elections outcome...and it's not first time they're doing it...if Turkish opposition really wants best for it's people why don't they say we don't want to win et expense of our people...
On the other hand Erdogan could also make a deal with opposition in the interest of people...he can retire, make early elections and let people decide...after elections they won't have reason to wage economic warfare against Turkey

Economic warfare so why central Bank consistently decreases interest rates and causes dolarization and high inflation? External powers didn't decrease interest rates , TCMB ( Erdoğan) did it however they give bonds higher yields in international finance market.

They load all burden onto Turkish citizens.

Why have they spent all reserves for their constructer bodies?

So basically the period of 2002-2010 foreign powers( dij gucler) were supporting akp, hence economy was doing good, now they are attacking, therefore there is economic problems.

Even if it's a warfare, government should have been prepared to it. It's their responsibility.

Bro it's not economic warfare. İf your government supplies economical environment with liberal policies and laws, Capital itself flows there.

Would you invest your money in country where there's no justice and law?

Selcuk Bayraktar will never become a tool for Erdogan.

Some of you need to read up on Özdemir Bayraktar and his stance when the TSK was being target by AKP,FETÖ and the US to destroy it by jailing Kemalist Generals and Admirals with fabricated evidence and testimonies.

This is a man who visited these men in jail, waited for them in front of prisons when they were finally let go.

Imagine thinking his sons would then go on to become tools for the man who was one of the main orchestraters of those court cases.

What did Erdogan say?

"I'm the prosecuter of these cases"

That was him right?

:)

Why would any international corporation invest in a country where the sitting president can do whatever he wants without check and balances and just could seize your infrastructur and assets over night while you are sleeping without any reason other than to feed his entourage and because the country you are from bruised his ego.

It amazing to me that people think the economy will heal with Erdogan at the wheel, no it will get worser and worser until riots start and buildings start burning and the mob starts hunting down those they feel are responsible for their situation.

The economy is still being sabotaged so people close to him can make money of the stock market by buying Dollar before his announcements and then selling it off again after the rate goes up and make a couple easy millions.

All the efforts now for the next two years will be focused on how to make and send money off into other countries where estates are being bought to live in after the inevitable downfall of the regime.

And if your excuse for the economic situation is that we are under attack by foreign powers, I would argue that the president who can't protect his people has no right to sit on that chair then.

So either the econimic situation is the president's fault or he is too weak to protect the country he is supposed to serve.

Which one is it.

Those are just excuses...they can't just say open right oh we are sinking your economy before elections to influence the outcome...of course they will find some reason why it's Erdogan fault..and the opposition just rides the narrative because it suits them...that just shows how much they care about Turkish people...the goal justifies the means for them

Yes he is weak because Turkey is weak and vulnerable in many ways...new government will solve your economic problems, not because they are capable, but because they'll be obedient to the West...maybe that is fine, but forget being relevant on world scene or even your own yard

At least you admitted Turkish economy is bad despite some people saying " we are doing well". Soon you will also admit as well as corruptions.

Being relevant on world scene how? We made PKK YPG our neighbour as a US backed state thanks to his big middle east project. We have 5-6 million Syrian and Afghan thanks to him. We fought with UAE, Israel, Egypt, KSA for nothing or we got nothing but enemies. Now we ara alone in the world scene.

A son does not necessarily inherit the virtues of his father.

Selcuk is also Erdogan's son-in-law, in case you forgot, and he benefits extensively from Erdogan's corruption.
