The current discourse about the engine is the most retarded shit ever. We are on our way to have like the highest income inequality in oecd, we've had record inflation for 7 years now, purchasing power is hitting all time lows, the country is getting disrespected left and right by multinationals and national corporations selling much worse versions of their products for much more expensive than they sell them abroad, we give colonial era mining concessions and act as trash and migrant reservoir of Europe, we constantly go lower and lower in democracy, freedom of expression and rule of law indices (along with U.S. and some other European countries btw, lest someone complain about these indices being merely Western propaganda), the education system is regressing on all international results, half the country smokes, there's a gambling epidemic and the government is aiding and abetting its barons, while importing mafia bosses from all over the world for pennies, and they have to pick the best aspect of this admin to attack them with.

Not going to lie. The current administration is one of the worst thing that happened in the history of the republic. The country is regressing in all aspects. Even the food is getting shittier. Shops and taxis scamming so much tourists that they don’t want to go to Turkiye anymore. The government bringing migrants in numbers from the worst shit holes on Earth, members of the Muslim Brotherhood also. Women being constantly abused, insulted and beaten. The brain drain increasing every year. We are falling in everything, like literally, EVERYTHING. Gercekten bu ulkeyi amina koydular.

Did anyone see this video? If someone can translate it for everyone please. I would much appreciate it. Bro if the info given by these guys is true wow. Bombs waiting to explode 🤯

NTV Washington correspondent Hüseyin Günay was caught on AP camera:

"They didn't get anything, meaning we didn't get anything."

"We got it, but we got the big one."

"They are targeting Hakan Fidan."

"There's a fight between Bilal, the son-in-law, and Hakan Fidan. A fight between three teams."

By son-in-law, does he mean Baykar?

I remember in the 2000s watching Türkiye come 3rd in the world cup, 1st place is Eurovision and seeing the 30 August military parade every year on TV. I was just a kid but felt proud of being a Turk. But my dad always spoke poorly of Erdoğan and I never really understood why. Things seemed good and I didn't know what was going on behind the scenes.

As I became an adult I became interested in the Turkish military and defence industry. Although I wasn't particularly fond of the government, I saw the operations both inside and outside of Türkiye and the progress of the defence industry and thought to myself that perhaps Erdoğan isn't so bad after all. Particularly in the 2020 Azerbaijan-Armenia war, I really had a high opinion of him, and it felt like we were heading towards some kind of Turkic union.

But now everything is out in the open. Economy is ruined, land is being sold to foreigners, millions of refugees are ruining the social fabric of the country, crime is rampant, our airforce is woefully unprepared as Greece has surpassed us, Syria has been an absolute fiasco, Kurdistan project is in full swing in both Syria and Iraq, Israel and Greece are both toying with us and we're not doing anything, Cyprus is arming up, absolute fucking shitshow.

It's clear that the government is massively corrupt, incompetent and uses foreign policy as a tool to stay in power. What was the Trump visit really about? Erdoğan's own survival.

No one will take us seriously for as long as AKP is in power. We're an empty husk of what we were previously. Hollowed out by western-backed Islamists, filled with foreign agents and potential terroists, with an military that's constantly monitored by the government for loyalty over competence. Our defence industry was in full swing in the 90s, they'd fill the inventory with new systems and you wouldn't hear a word about it until years later. Now it's all a show, all politicized. KAAN can give me votes, so let me put my signature on it and take a picture in the cockpit.

Joke of a government. Ümit Özdağ or Mansur Yavaş are our only hope, if they don't get arrested.

Your dad knew what Ataturk accomplished and why clearly. A patriot admires the greatest patriot.

It is hard to be aware of it as youngster, you havent seen enough of life yet.

Ataturk ideology is meant to harness the best of the Turk and diminish the worst...Turks are imperfect in the end like every other human.

This all boils down to how the republic came to be and why, the context of before which was failing by sticking to the worst in enough degree.

Once you know that, it becomes very clear what the various brain and mind rot away from Ataturk is....

....where best and worst is conflated to bring out the latter again for temporary political triumph (at cost to the nation and body politic).
