“Five lieutenants expelled from TSK filed a criminal complaint against Chief of General Staff Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu.

The rationale stated the claim that the vote, which had resulted in 7 to 2 in favor of "the lieutenants should not be expelled," was changed to 5 to 4 under pressure from Bayraktaroğlu.”

“Pervin Buldan, a member of the DEM Party's İmralı Delegation, spoke on Medya Haber TV:

"Öcalan is very disturbed by the language of the media. He has serious criticisms.

The comments made against the process by some commentators, some journalists, and some channels in the media are not a problem for us to solve; this is also the government's issue. Because today, the media is in the hands of the AKP, and the judiciary is in the hands of the AKP.

It is the government's duty to eliminate such issues."”

And, right there, 137th time, proving that the commission’s end goal was not, is not and will never be democracy 😅

They arent angry that the media is lashing out at DEM; they have been doing that for years and honestly even if the media stops lashing out at DEM, public opinion will still be against them

The true reason they are angry is that the govt is strictly refusing to release either Ocalan or Demirtas unless TRUE steps are taken at demilitarisation of the PKK which according to the Turkish Defence Minister hasnt been initiated till date

The DEM fools thought that Demirtas would be released last week only for the govt to reportedly refuse

Even if no concrete steps are taken, The govt will release Ocalan and Demirtas if they agreed to give Erdo a next term and support him in the next elections IMO

However, at the same time, the govt isnt in a rush. If possible for Erdo to win the next election in 2027 without DEM's aid, then they would cut ties with DEM but that seems unlikely considering that polls show that the CHP and AKP are nearly neck and neck

I'm beginning to feel a little concerned with our trajectory.

The second video shows a recent Jandarma ceremony. Reminiscent of Maduro's warning to the US which was an absolute clown show. To put things into context, the Jandarma was put into the control of the interior ministry and is no longer tied to the military.

Erdoğan's rule has lasted far too long.

im near convinced that just like the "islamist" gulen was exposed as a cia shill, one day erdogan will be exposed as a zionist asset used to destabilise and sabatage Turkiye from within.

If your the isreal or her regional lackeys like the PKK these images will excite you. It shows decay within the military apparatus of the state. The anglo-saxon world learned a long time ago that if you want to destroy muslim majority nations you only need send them islamists.

For clarification, the first video is from 2020 in Baku, turkish commandos. So in this case that X post is just bs, since he wrote before and during AKP, which is not true.

That's not the point, we all know the first video is from 2020. The tweet calls the Jandarma soldiers too, which may or may not be correct depending on how you look at it.

The fact of the matter is that in the past 3-4 years the government is trying to double down on controlling the military the same way it did to the Jandarma. They're trying to put their own loyal men into high positions to save their ass, with zero fucks given to competency. Just like every other shitty dictatorship.

Jandarma has had it's balls chopped off and is fully under civilian control. AKP wants the same to happen to all of TSK.

We're seeing what's unfolding in the region and we're just sitting around with our dicks in our hands, instead of unity, the government has done a 180 from the glorious year of 2020. It seems like since the Israel Gaza war started, the barrels of the government turned towards the opposition and the military. And now they're openly holding hands with literal terrorists as Israel totally dominates the region and Greece builds up its air force. Meanwhile, YPG is still thriving in Syria ans PKK has been gifted a free victory in Türkiye, even infiltrated the government. AKP just wants Türkiye to burn to the ground.

I'm convinced any AKP supporters who are still lurking here are either traitors or think that all of this is part of some grand Sun Tzu "act weak when you're strong" strategy. I can assure you it's not, it's just rotten CIA backed dictatorship.
