If such court decision was released a year ago, when the CHP was ahead of the AKP by nearly 5 whole points in polls, then the people would have taken the streets as a sign of revolt against Erdogan's autocracy. However, Erdogan waited until the CHP's incomepetence became visible and their greed became palpable to the point that according to the average of most polls, Erdogan's is actually leading by 0.1 points (clawed his way back from a negative 5 difference). When the CHP's incompetence ripened, Erdo pulled his autocratic move and now no one really gives a shit what happens to the CHP.

The people didnt go to the streets, Europe and the US turned a blind eye aside from some statements and Imamoglu has no one to blame other than himself for his incompetence in not hiding his dirty dealings correctly which gave Erdo the necesaary ammunition to carry out his plan

Now Erdogan is in the middle of creating a psychology of "no stable party other than the AKP" among the Turkish populace; if he succeeds, then he will not only win the presidence next year but also have a majority in parliament which was the whole point of throwing the CHP into chaos in the first place
