Bangladesh and Qatar signed an agreement today (16 November) allowing the deployment of personnel from the Bangladesh Armed Forces to the Qatar Armed Forces on deputation.
Under the deal, members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces will have the opportunity to serve in the Qatar Armed Forces on a temporary assignment. Initially, approximately 800 personnel will be sent to Qatar, with the possibility of increasing this number in the future, according to the CA Press Wing.
The deployed personnel will serve on a three-year contract, which may be extended up to six years based on satisfactory performance.
