It's about the scale of the solution needed I think. Turkish army ordered 14 Korkut systems (with 42 firing units) in total along with existing GDF gun modernised by Aselsan. All of them are already delivered. (Korkuts)

As you wrote İn addition to Korkuts most of the 35 mm Oerlikons were modernized i.e They have the same architecture with Korkut but towed not quite sure about the exact numbers .... around 120 firing units (?)

P.S which makes Turkey one of the biggest 35 mm Oerlikon users in the world

Yes but currently the only short range systems I know of are korkut

There were no addition orders for Korkut afaik. At least from publicly available sources. There should be at least several dozen more Korkut systems if you think about the scale of potential uav threats.

I hope after these HISAR and SIPER orders, they turn their attention to this.
No I know and understand that, we've been improving a lot since the times where we only had those Hawks and some WW2 style AA guns. But I dont think we have the numbers that we need.
Sure, numbers could always go up, but as @Sanchez stated, we don't know what is actually included in these anti-air orders but if I had to bet, I would bet that some sort of short range aa cannon *is* included. My point here is, for once, we managed to be ahead of the pack thanks to harsh lessons we learned in Syria.

For example, just this summer, I read news about how France was upgrading their old 20 or 30 mm cannons to be used against drones whereas we have already done so with our 35 mms and we could easily do so with the 20 mm cannons we still have as well, especially since Aselsan CEO already said they were working on 20 mm ATOM as well, perhaps old 40 mm cannons could be next. Germany just ordered Skyranger while we have been getting Korkut for years and will either keep producing it or switch to Gürz or Burç.

📡🎯 100% SUCCESS FROM THE NEW ACTOR IN AIR DEFENCE!

💯 The #MKE #TOLGA SHORAD firing test observed live by nearly 100 high-level participants from the Turkish Armed Forces and various security units were completed with 100% success.

🛡️ The MKE TOLGA Short-Range Air Defence System is designed to counter the rising threats of mini/micro UAVs, tactical drones, smart munitions, and cruise missiles on today’s battlefield.

⚔️ With MKE Tolga Ammunition specially developed for the weapons integrated into the system and programmed to detonate near the target and disperse fragments and with every component produced by MKE, the MKE TOLGA SHORAD offers a complete system solution.
It combines electronic warfare, anti-drone ammunition, weapons of various calibres, and a command and control system that brings detection, tracking, and neutralisation capabilities under one roof:

📡 Up to 10,000 metres with a mobile radar station capable of tracking and surveillance, electro-optical system, and jammer
♦️ 3,000 metres with the 35 mm Tolga Weapon System
♦️ 1,000 metres with the 20 mm Tolga Weapon System
♦️ 300 metres with the 12.7 mm Tolga Weapon Systems

Together, these provide effective protection by neutralising hostile drones and aerial threats.

Fucking hell, recoil and spread was insane in some of those shots, thank god they use airburst rounds. And in most of the shots drones looked stationary, I would love to see this system tested against drones that are actively trying to avoid getting shot at full speed.

Also, did I miss 35mm or they skipped it in this video?

MKE is developing that 35mm gun for the last 6 or 8 years. Not one single test shown so far. We only got a carbon copy of Rheinmetall gun's turret design.
I don't remember ever seen anything from MKE about developing their own 35mm, rather than keep using the Oerlikon GDF.

Also, I just realised they removed the 40 mm grenade launcher they showed as a part of the system just this summer.

They've been working on a revolver type 35mm, similar to KDG. Some of the weapon systems showcased over the years require the smaller footprint of the revolver to exist. Non surprisingly, all those systems also went nowhere, because they have no guns as MKE is yet to show it.

I missed this one completely, such a shame they have a chokehold in the industry.

Did they use airburst ammunition the 50cal looked like delayed open (fuze) with small pellets inside that open after it left the barrel.

The 20mm was airburst or at least proxy fuze.

It should be airburst, most likely delayed fuse though. Las year or this summer Aselsan and another company had revealed 7.62 and 12.7 mm anti-drone ammo, so, it should be either that or something like that.
