Are we finally making equivalent of Kürecik's radar AKA AN/TPY-2? This would put Aselsan to whole another league that Afaik No European country has developed equivalent. Only US, Russia and China has these kind of technology in their disposal.

It's a more powerful and fixed version of ALP-300G. It would probably be something like Thales GM406 compared to GM403.

This is such a wrong take that I don't know where to start. You just can't use average Alibaba IR cameras as an IRST. You can't use 1$ electric motors for precision tracking and stabilization. FLIRs cost 1 million $ and there are good reasons for it.
Why are you talking about FLIR? FLIR aka thermal and NIR cameras aren't the same things but if you want both are around $65 at Alibaba.
Daylight cameras used in multimegapixel cellphones are around $2!
Super telephoto lenses to zoom in are around $100.
Electric motors should be around $10 at most I haven't checked.
If you motorize IR the right way that is called IR search and track.

Haven't you ever seen a motorized satellite antenna? It doesn't get more precise than finding a small sat in space even by a TV remote controller. How much those cost then $1 millions again? You can try to sell anything een a piece of toilet paper for $1 million. Just let someone like Banksy doodle on it. Some fool will buy that too.

Again you ignored dozens of Iranian turbojet missile 358 takedowns. What taking down a MQ9-Reaper that flies up to 50,000 feet isn't good enough for you?
Just replace tubojet with a MANPAD not as first line of air defense as the last resort once everything else is destroyed. Good luck smarting up and trying to build the same IRNET once all aselsan and roketsan factories are destroyed in the first weeks. I won't discuss this any longer. I am getting angry again.

Kürecik is X band. ALP-500G is S band. ALP-500G will have ~10000 modules I expect a peak output of 3MW to 10MW depending on what kind of modules will be used (30W modules vs 100W modules I heard these 2). The radar will have its own facility/building with huge cooling and power delivery systems.

I was thinking, ALP-300G already must have 10000x 30w T/R modules, it's quite big no? For ALP-500G more powerful T/R module make sense. Is the existence of 100w modules confirmed?

I have detailed photos of those S band 100W modules from 2021 :D, they are not new at all.

Also, are you sure ALP-300G has only 4000 modules? Wasn't Chenk supposedly had 4000 modules? ALP-300G is much bigger.

murat F16 more than 1000,murat kaan around 2000,cenk S exactly 4000,alp 300G probably 10000 and alp 500 should be more than 10000 modules. Future projects are mobil traffic control radar,Fulmar maritime radar,Balistik missile tracking radar,Altough S band is optimum frequency we need L band radars to detect very low observible aircrafts.

Aselsan once had see-through image of T-EIRS that roughly showed count of T/R modules. The model belonged the latest iteration EIRS/ERALP/ALP-300G.

Meanwhile we should also recall that Cenk is a ship-borne radar, fed by enormous generators while ALP-300G / 310G is mobile and fed by rather small - mobile generators. While limitations for Cenk is space-weight based, it is rather power consumption based for ALP-300/310G.

Haluk Görgün states it has "more than 4000" modules, also we have some diagrams of the radar. As for the pics lemme find them.

Yeah they are nothing new. The problem was feeding and cooling them as mobile ground radars have SWaP concerns. Also, 10000 30W modules will provide better capability(like resolution) than 3000 100W modules even though both will have the same output. On the con side, more modules means higher costs(more modules=more antenna blocks etc.) and maintenance. It is an engineering decision.

I thought Eralp was already comparable to GM400a/406 which all have around 500 Km range, 10k kg, MTBCF> 3000 hours...

GM406 is fixed an has twice more power than GM400.
