Imaging Infrared Seeker (KOGAB) is an electro-optical system that includes a long detection range, high-resolution infrared imaging system, a high field-of-regard gimbal and state-of-the-art detection and tracking algorithms. KOGAB can be integrated into highly manoeuvring missiles to provide precise terminal phase guidance as well as support to navigation systems with an integrated IMU.

KÖGAB has been developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE and has been used within SOM Missile Family

If my elven eyes see accurately this thing has a 10 micrometer pitch length. It might also be 12 micrometer.

FPA in Turkey was produced in 640x512 resolution both in METU and ASELSAN. The next step is to increase the resolution. The work of Mikro Tasarım informs us about this.

After that, detectors with 640x512 resolution can be used in ATGMs such as OMTAS UMTAS KARAOK. It uses a 640x512 detector in Israel's Spike ATGM family, whose image quality is acclaimed.

So aselsan already produces cooled FPA with QWIP GaAs technology ..but they still work for MCT "which allows for higher quality " ... did i get it right ?

I read it before .. but they talked about microbolometer and mct studies ..there was no refer to qwip studies

I found this from 2015 ..so i think qwip is already mass produced and used in some applications like hisar missiles ... And 312 microbolometer also were in mass production ..i think they uses them with omtas/umtas ..that is why its photos quality is not good

Aselsan produces QWIP sensor since Aselflir-300(1440x576px,2008-2009 or 2010 if i remember correctly) times. MCT production started recently. 640x512 MCT FPAs are already in production. Aselflir-400 is offered with 1024x768 so it is either in production or close to it. Aselsan will introduce Aselflir-F500C with an HD MCT seeker in late 2022.
