DeltaV Space CEO: "Three different systems will be launched in Sinop within this week. Some of them are not going to space, they will be ground-to-ground. Of course, we also have a system that will go to space."
HaberTürk Live

The launch was originally scheduled for Sunday, but the weather conditions were not favorable.

Hello Space CEO Muzaffer Duysal: We will be sending 4 cube satellites into space in October.

❗️This is the first time a company is sending 4 cube satellites simultaneously, which is a record.

Target region: Turkey (test area).
Target countries: Africa, Latin America, Australia.

Additionally, Hello Space plans to send a significantly larger number of cube satellites into space in 2024.

The important thing is the hybrid propulsion system is carried by a hybrid rocket to that altitude. Both of them have hybrid rocket engines and as far as i know this is a first in the world no one has ever fired a hybrid rocket engine in space. This is history.

Does DeltaV has a clear plan to scale their hybrid technology into a orbital launch vehicle?

For the first time in the world, a Hybrid Propulsion System has been carried into space!

The Hybrid Propulsion System (HIS) to be used in the Lunar Research Program reached an altitude of 103 km with an @DeltavUzay probe rocket and was fired.

We cannot hide our HIS, we are proud!
It's a revolution. We will close the gap in the field of space at a speed that no one can predict.

Is there a reason why no one else has then that before?

SSB President İsmail Demir: "We are building a launch facility in Igneada in Kirklareli and a monitoring facility in Kefken Island. We will launch our first satellite from Igneada with our own rocket next year. The installation activities of the facility have started. R&D was carried out by Roketsan."

If i understood him correctly, he also said, that next year will be launched a 100 kg satellite to an altitude of 300 km. And in 2026, they will launch a 1,5 t satellite to an altitude of 700 km.

We are yet to find out if İğneada is suitable for 1.5 ton payload rocket launch.

We expect to launch our 1.5t payload rocket 2 years after we launch our 100kg payload rocket given that all goes well with the first one.

This means year 2026 is the year when we expect our 1.5ton space launch rocket to take off. Considering the fact that there has been no news of an overseas launchpad for the 1.5ton rocket we can assume that it will be launched from İğneada too. It is fantastic news that we won't need a far away launch location for our low earth orbit launches. We can probably launch payloads as much as 3 tons to a lower orbit like 400 km where the International Space Station resides. Being able to do such launches from your own territories is a big boon.

If and when we can make a Space-X type reusable and steerable first stage we can probably do launches from our southern shores too where there is a payload advantage because of Earth's bigger centrifugal push assist as we can land our first stage on safe locations by steering it. For larger and larger payloads we will need to probably find overseas locations like Somali, Indonesia or Libya or we use floating launchers on the sea.

Also notable that the Kefken Island which is located 100 km to the east of Istanbul on the Black Sea coast is mentioned as the base for observation stations and partial construction of rockets as well as for launchpads.

Breaking! Turkiye’s micro launcher (100kg to 300km orbit) will launch by the end of 2023! - Ismael Demir

Turkiye is accelerating its space ambitions as I advocated earlier 😍

the altitude will be increased to 400km later (probably in 2024).

This is really important developments!
