New target: 2025/2026. All programs have their own priority and these types of challenging projects require patience and effort. Even those who started these projects years ago are experiencing abnormal disruptions and cant keep up with schedule these days. How many times has S. Korea tried and failed despite lots of technological support? what about Space X in their firat attempt? We may not even be able to meet our target in our first try, we may even fail in moon-orbit program but instead of distributing judgment about big tech challenging projects from our comfort zone, all should understand the difficulties, support the steps regarding future of our country with all our heart and believe our country's goals because Goals are eternal so all we need is time and faith. When we reach 2030s, we will launch such vehicle that will go to the Moon with our own rocket.

SR-1 is a historic milestone for Turkish rocketry. This post actualy announces that the Turks have achieved the capability to send satellites into space with liquid-fueled rockets. The 300km apogee will improve rapidly year by year, but the important thing is that progress in this area is within the up-to-date standards in the world. This will make Roketsan's launch system technically and commercially competitive. Turkiye may have a remarkable market in this area, in the 2030s. On the military side, this sharing may indirectly indicate that the Turks have also reached MRBM capability.

SpaceX launch of Axiom Space's 3rd private astronaut mission delayed to Jan. 17

The eight-day delay is due to 'recent unfavorable weather conditions and changes in SpaceX's launch manifest.'

With respect to Turks in space, I think we should have a Lt Gen Kerim Kerimov (1917-2003) appreciation day in Turkey. An Azeri Turk, he was the chief scientist of the Soviet Space Program (SSP). His mere existence was kept secret from the world, for the safety of the SSP, until 1987. Whilst the world celebrated the accomplishments of his rival peers, he worked thanklessly in the shadows.

He was undoubtedly as great as Werner von Braun—or much greater, in my opinion, since he wasn't a literal nazi.

Sputnik. Vostok. Soyuz. Salyut. Mir. Need I say more?

He serves as a reminder of what Turks, as with any other people, are capable of accomplishing some of the greatest leaps in human ingenuity. In tough times, our culture loves to indulge in hopelessness and defeatism. Here is man that proves the sky is not the limit.
