Israel plans to send the new Syrian military to the medieval ages to ensure that Syria doesnt have the power to resist the current annexation. Obviously, the jews timed it so well that even the SNA has its hands tied with the PKK while the HTS is literally an Israel proxy
When Bashar was ruling, Israel felt safe since the Shia leaders will just vent their religious fantacism onto the Sunni population and will leave Israel alone (just look at sednaya prison), but now that the major bulk of Syrian Sunni population is returning (in millions), Israel is expanding its zone of control to ensure none can stand its rule
Mark my words, Sooner or later they will start targeting universities as well as oil facilities..... since they are still testing the waters. Anything that can make Syria stand on its own feet, Israel will ensure to see it bombed to smithers before the rebels completely unify Syria by defeating the PKK
Syria, under Israel's plan, should be like Tunisia and Lebanon. In other words, failed states that is filled with either corruption, religious/tribal devisions, or even a combination of both so that Israel can remain supreme within the region.
