Those oilfields generate enough to bribe
Talking about “economic firepower”, SDF also controlled Lafarge (Holcim) cement plant near Kobani (Ayn Al-Arab or Ayn Al-Islam called by IS). Lafarge charged with terror financing now by French court because they paying tax to IS to keep running the business as usual when Islamic State still control the areas.

US also had presence back then within or near Lafarge cement plant called Kobani Landing Zone (KLZ) before Trump’s retreat like in Manbij.

Don’t forget about Conoco oil and gas field in Deir az-Zour east of Euphrates that Assad and Wagner tried to take during Battle of Khasham.

Opposition forces advancing inside Homs

*

With the regime has lost all of its southern borders, leaving it with access only to Lebanon. In the north, the Yayladağı border gate leading to Turkiye's Hatay province is closed for years to passage from Syria.

Just look at the face of the foreign leaders during the Doha meeting

Iran FM: We are fqed, our long term plans of turning the Sunni-majority Syria into a shia/radical hollow state has failed.....
Russia FM: FQ Assad and Iran, this is the problem with third-rate allies with overinflated egos
Turkish FM: YOLO, i dont give a fq, Iam winning anyway so lets end the meeting

There are even videos of Iranian officials crying near their holy sites in Damascus before escaping

Manbij is cake compare to Tabqa (Thawrah) with only (overstretch) Russian and Assad providing security guarantee for SDF.

Lake Assad in Tabqa could be used as weapon of mass destruction or at minimum scorched earth by blowing Tabqa Dam. That’s why US special forces involved in the swift capture of the dam during Battle of Tabqa and gave no time for Islamic State to blow the dam. Also the first time SDF’s YAT seen publicly using US supplied NOD.

A large number of SNA militants were urgently sent to Deir ez-Zor. The regime is done, the final hours. Fighting is in the inner neighbourhoods of Damascus and Homs has about liberated. At this stage, Munbic can wait a few days.

I understand the reason he and the Turks are happy right now, but one day they will understand the reason the ancient Greeks depicted the goddess Νίκη, Victory with winds. What we see happening in Syria right now might just be like a movie trailer for what will happen to a certain neighbor of Syria one day. There are many people who would prefer to see whatever happens to Syria right now happen to that neighbor, and I don't even mean the obvious Greeks, Kurds or Armenians.
YOLO, enjoy your victory until the goddess Νίκη decides to spread her wings to fly to another nation(s).

There were reports that HTS have promised Russia they will not move onto Latakia and Tartus.
This makes good sense. And its smart of HTS and SNA as well. Even if Russia is in current situation, it's best to try keep level and decent relations. Especially if they're looking to rebuild their army. I am not sure any other country except China might sell arms to ME countries like Syria.

Following Doha Talks

Syria's 'Real Friends' Russia and Iran Leave Assad in Trouble :)

Opposition forces from Daraa reportedly encircle Damascus

Erdogan: "Just as we attach importance to the well-being of Hatay (a Turkish city), we also want Hama, Homs, Damascus, Raqqa and Aynu'larab to be safe"

*

RTE: Syria belongs to the Syrians along with all their ethnic and religious diversity. It is the Syrian people who will decide the future of their own country. We are aware of the separatist terrorist organization's efforts to steal logs from the flood. We will never allow this.

False analogy fallacy; Turkey is a tax-state, Syria a rentier one (other problems of manufactured borders, etc. set aside). We have very strong ideological state apparatuses working on washing the brains of our little ones (I'm a prime example myself), as evidenced here:

Donald Trump: The rebels in Syria are on the outskirts of Damascus, preparing a major move to overthrow Assad.

Russia, due to heavy losses in Ukraine, cannot stop this. Both the Russians and Assad may be expelled from Syria — which might actually be the best thing for them.

Russia has never gained anything from its presence in Syria. Syria is a mess, but it’s not our ally.

The U.S. should not get involved at all in what’s happening there. This is not our war. Let events unfold. Don’t interfere.

We all know that it is not only the Greeks wish us death and destruction, so we act accordingly.

Hence it is more likely that you will see the Athens viyaley again in the future with your constant hostile mentality as you displayed here.

Obviously, todays turks, including me does not wish you any bad faith but future generation of turks migth not be as humanitarian as the ancient ones. They simply migth act as westerners have acted throughout history to this day and you know what that means for the Greeks.

So, if you wish to live in peace, act like you wish to live in peace instead of these constant fantasy about foreign powers destroying Turkey.
