This idea of like Israel and U.S. all planning this from the dawn of time and that all is going according to plan for them is such taxi driver level discourse bullcrap. The leader of the group has called himself Al-Julani. Julan as in Golan heights; that's his cause.

A Russian doesn't go to the toilet, period. I still remember the pictures of them in Ukraine digging holes to shit in RIGHT NEXT to the bathrooms in the buildings they occupied.

I hope that , also if a train or good quality roads will kill the Israeli project

I'm not talking about a road. It is a pipeline project that carries Qatari gas to Europe to replace Russian gas. It will be extremely competitive in price with Russian gas.
Road projects might follow existing routes through Iraq.

Some people don't seem to understand Israelis jubilation and write this whole thing on their wall. All roads from Iran to Iraq to Lebanon and West Bank go through Syria, many of Hezbollah's crucial weapon manufacturing facilities and depots are in Syria. Obviously Israel will be jubilant. On the other hand, HTS and their players and some of the defected Syrian army people have been in this game for a very long time, they will try to get any support they can before they latch onto power. None of this points to some conspiracy (in the real meaning of the term).

The leaders of the armed Syrian opposition have guaranteed the security of Russian military bases and diplomatic institutions in Syria, a Kremlin source said.
Assad reportedly flew out of Latakia in Russia several hours ago. The plane could have taken off from the Russian Khmeimim military base or from Latakia airport.
Meanwhile, the flag at the Syrian consulate in St. Petersburg (Russia) has changed. Instead of the state symbol, there now hangs the banner of the opposition.
The national flag has been removed from the Syrian embassy in Moscow.
The flagpole outside the building is now empty — perhaps a new Syrian flag with three stars will appear there. (Haqqin az)

Russia is the first to recognize the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) government :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Any evidence that support that ?
Evidence?
Syria was the most modern of the Arab countries as a society,i have been to Syria a couple of times before the war.
In rural areas there was moderate Islam but never Jihadis or radicals, the cities were normal just like in my country a mix of everything.
The Syrians i have met in Europe are all somewhat modern, maybe 10% closed but no ideas of Sharia rule.
They all want a modern democracy and freedom, actually nobody cares about politics just freedom.
Why you ask,you would like it to be an Islamic(rule) country?

Some people said, if the 'Secular' 'feminist' Sheikh Hassina falls Bangladesh would become Syria. Now it looks like Syria has become Bangladesh.😂 The tyranny ended. And the Evil has fled. They always do. It's time to rebuild that country. Türkiye's presence and its influence give me hope for a better change in the long run.

I'm sure there are still many people in the lower levels but I really doubt that number. Few thousand, sure.

Checked the morning news and checked it again this afternoon with Tass confirming the opposition will let the Russians stay.
MOSCOW, December 8. /TASS/. Russia has granted Syria’s former President Bashar Assad and his family members asylum, a source in the Kremlin said.

TASS has summaries what is known about this to this hour.

According to the source in the Kremlin, Assad and his family have arrived in Moscow. Being guided by humanitarian considerations, Russia has granted asylum for them.

"Russia has always spoken in favor of a political settlement of the Syrian crisis. We insist that the UN-mediated talks be resumed," the source said.

"Russian officials are in touch with representatives of armed Syrian opposition, whose leaders have guaranteed security of Russian military bases and diplomatic missions on the Syrian territory," the source added.

Russia and Turkey really do share the same bed?
