TEDBF will see light only if IN completely discards F-18 acquisition from the US. Since additional Mig-29s are coming anyway, they should act as a stop gap while ADA/HAL should fastrack the development of TEDBF

Yeah. Providing jamming for whole strike package (that you are escorting) rather than just your own plane. So its an amped up version of more typical self protection jammer etc.
