true , at least some sort of protection against infrared-homing missiles , but who knows , we may have optical stealth in our planes in the futureYes, but nowhere near what we have achieved with EM waves
It's not easy to think over it. At least for me .At first I thought it was a brilliant concept but when I thinked about it in detail my brain just blow up.Use TFX as awacs and cost-effective jet drone as the gun carrier (pack mule) but how. Both platforms must be interoperable in terms of speed and altitude that .Jet drone must not endanger tfx on secrecy. It needs to carry a certain weapon load in its internal stations. In that therm you must put the jet drone a big sophisticated and expensive engine(s).How will jet drones be managed? What kind of communication infrastructure should be established? How will it be exported to allied countries that do not have the necessary communication infrastructure? Will it be cost-effective after all?(I'm not pessimistic btw.Its just 40 fox wandering around my head)that's why it would play a decent role as a wingman for future 5th and 6th gen fighters , a cost-effective substitute for some models like the MQ-28 Ghost Bat or the XQ-58 Valkyrie
i would say that the KizilElma would have multiple versions , one that is a stand-alone , and the other is a loyal wingman , but i was just making a theory on how turkey could make really good drones to escort fighter jets and performing multiple tasks , not necessarly a weaponized drone , an EW or an AEW version would also work wellIt's not easy to think over it. Bro why it's impossible for us? SABR isn't a holy artifactno way , the APG-83 SABR is between 300-400 km in range , impossible for Turkey to accomplish a range beyond the american one , maybe better in other specs like the processing power or the transmission power , probably for propaganda purposes , the company itself said that it can compete with the APG -83 , not exceed it.
no no , i understood nowBro why it's impossible for us? SABR isn't a holy artifact
Then a triple thanks for your effort. Great job!
I loved the work and I don't want to disrespect. But there is a mistake. The names of the Gökdoğan and Bozdoğan should be switched. This image will be used in many places I think.
And another thing to add is Akbaba doesn't look like HARM, it could cause some misconceptionsI loved the work and I don't want to disrespect. But there is a mistake. The names of the Gökdoğan and Bozdoğan should be changed. This image will be used in many places I think.

Yeah, Akbaba is Ramjet propelledso it doesn't look like it ?
so it doesn't look like it ?
Less like harm, more like Kh-31...
"AKBABA has a Ramjet engine and its exterior design is different from HARM in that respect... There is a visual from the flight, but I cannot share it at this stage because I did not get permission, maybe they will share it themselves.."
Photo of the Akbaba is representativeAnd another thing to add is Akbaba doesn't look like HARM, it could cause some misconceptions
Bro at this point i am surprised how they can find and manage space for all these projects, i have been to there and it was already full of stuff in nearly every assembly building• TAI conveyed to Lockheed Martin that it could take charge at Turkey's new F-16 supply point.
• Lockheed Martin came to Turkey and made an investigation.
TUSAS General Manager Temel Kotil:
"If they allow, we can 'assembly' the F-16s."
It is related to President's calendar which is related to the elections in late April or May.Why tho?
I bet lockmart will come with that offer themselves. Existing Viper assembly lines are backed up to no end, and the will to invest more is not there due to F-35 being a priority.and 80-100 Vipers for international customers. TAI can make good money from that workshare.
