Kotil said that they will start to develop passenger plan after 5 years. Do we have more informations? @MADDOG
I possess no info on the current state of TAI's civil aviation programs (most notably the aforementioned passenger aircraft, as it is most probably in very early stages of development).

It's good to be back btw.

Won't they work on
1) Mule / Cargo UAVs
2) Global Hawk like
3) Pseudo satellite >55k feet solar long endurance UAVs
4) Last but not least, Kızılelma like pure Unmanned fighters?

Before that or maybe at the same time?

4th one is the biggest question on my mind.

None of these is a priority. Even the passenger plane comes before these on the priority list. 4th answer, not before the 6th generation work matures. There is already Kızılelma and unless Kızılelma sells in big numbers or fails miserably leaving the field empty and the force wants another one besides Kızılelma which I doubt, there is no point in duplicating efforts. It would be like a madman harming himself by crushing his left hand with his right hand.

For those who are thinking Pakistan is going to give up critical KAAN techs to China, I humbly urge you to consider the fact that, in international strategic defence cooperation that's not how things really works.

(Also, There is a misconception that Pak has increasingly became a vessel state of PRC. But anybody with decent understanding of subcontinent's politics or Pak state would knows that is not what Pakistan's actual problem is.)

Anyway, it doesn't matter if Pakistan assemble or manufacture the KAAN's fuselage. Like F-35, KAAN is an in-and-out software defined platform.

Italy and Japan both has F-35's local production line, yet they cannot even control a bolt without US permission.

There is a saying that USA doesn't sell the F-35, it only sell sorties.
You can expect Türkiye would assert similar control of KAAN when exporting aboard.

The main issue is, for now Pak has absolutely zero money. (Like literally) So i don't know what their contributions would be in the near future.
(Maybe their engineers would work for free?)

Like you said, they don’t even have the necessary fund to support the project. So what will they bring to the table ?

Let's just hope that the possible deal with Pakistan is rock solid and gives more than few tens of pages to Pakistan's relationship with China re our IP rights; and we have guarantees from the US to not kill the entire thing. Too early to say anything at this stage.

We know exactly how this will play out. Welcome Altay Version 2.0.

Pakistan has nothing to add to this project other than embargoes.

Adding a country that is being embargoed by the same country you are getting your engines from is peak Government move.

Congrats they once again managed to sabotage a strategic project.

Not only that Pakistan right now is surviving thanks to China if anyone here thinks they won’t give up classified information or technology to the Chinese once pressured to do so are delusional.

Nobody here should act surprised when information about Kaan suddenly leaks out on Chinese forums. Cause that is where this is heading.

With this they most likely also kill Hürjet before it even can enter inventory for the next 10 years. Bravo!
