In fact, the name MMU is also flawed. Should have been USU (Ulusal Savaş Uçağı).
Milli and Muharip is of Arabic origin. It may be a detail, it may have become part of our language, but that is the truth.
USU pronunciation sounds great but on the other hand, ending as -SU is another problem. lol. like Updated Sukhoi
It can be a (U)lusal (S)avaşçı - US - instead.
Also, US literally means in Turkish: the ability to establish necessary relations between events or concepts, to perceive and grasp these relations, to understand, to think complexly. Simply, mind or intelligence.
And as everyone knows, in English "we" or "us" refers to a set, including the person saying it.
Since the MMU represents a concept in which intelligent machines and pilots will act together as a collective mind, a semantic link can be established.
***
U- Common code
S- Class code (Combatant/Savaşçı)
1-2 (can be number of pilots or number of engines)
4-6 (could be the code indicating the generation)
For example, if ANKA-3 is also coded with this type of designation, its name could be UB/UI-15. (Ulusal bombardıman/Ulusal İnsansız- Single engined and ability to conduct joint operations with 5th generation fighter jets)
This is just a suggestion, it would be nice to have a clear platform coding system. Soon we will have so many different platforms that even knowing their individual names may not be easy, except for aviation enthusiasts. These names can also be kept, but I think it would be much better if the air forces make a common coding. The same is valid for ammunition groups.
