French army marching to war in 1914.
We gotta look the part and have that drip!!! Honestly im surprised how they had to dress with class until they realised how easy they were to be spotted. It took thousands of French soldiers getting gun down to make the higher ups realise they need to switch to camo.
I think the highers up knew but prefer the tradition of dressing and looking good. I cant blame them to be honest we all love to look good. French uniforms really did look classy and nice before they switch to camos in ww1.
