Want to hear a fact thats true from ww2. France lost and got defeated by Germany but the French still beaten back an Italian invasion into France despite being defeated.

French troops were able to hold back lots of Italians despite defeat.

Seriously the way we look at uniforms would be so different without the French.

No wonder before ww1 they did want to give up dressing cool.

Every nation from the Romans, Ottomans, Germans and the French had awesome uniforms and drip.

Well this isn't surely the most glorious event of the French history but the Germans were audacious and took us off guard,followed by a debacle,credit must be given where it's due.

As for the Italians they conducted a land grab attempt while France was defeated in the north,this attempt was thwarted by few French batallions against entire Italian divisions.

Didnt french troops also hold up thai troops as they invaded indochina. Until the Japanese intervened.

French got defeated still able to defeat an Italian invasion is still impressive.
