regarding drones Tunisia was one of the first countries to produce a UAV in the 90s but the project was cancelled in early 2000s due to said French pressure at the time

Also Avionav (Tunisian light aircraft manufacturing company) and Turkey′s Baykar signed an agreement and announced that they will cooperate and produce a UAV for navies and Tunisian coast guard seemed interested.
