As reported by The Africa Report, the capture of the Pantsir-S1 air defense system provided access to important intelligence on Russia's military technology. For this reason, a dispute which will be taken into custody for the first time in the country's air defense system between Turkey and the United States has occurred. Who want to examine in detail the system Pantsir-S1 Turkey insisted on taking into custody.

Interesting article,

Wonder why the US prioritised securing the Pantsir and preventing it from getting into the hands of LNA affiliated rebels. Surely once Turkish troops captured the system one could assume it was "secure".

Also, isn't this one of the first times that Turkey has openly said it will analyse captured Russian equipment?

People were saying that "reverse-engineering" the s-400s would ruin Turkish credibility in the arms market, but then why choose to openly admit to analysing the Pantsir?
If Turkish technicians could extract data from the s-400s and implement them in the building of the Siper system, the S-400s problem would be solved.

Turkey is not going to reverse engineer the Pantsir. It will be thoroughly analyzed to counter russian sam systems. I am pretty sure the pantsir will be located in Konya airbase with other soviet/russo SAM systems to train on.
