Key Takeaways

  1. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky continues to reiterate Ukraine’s willingness to engage in a mutual energy strikes moratorium in line with US President Donald Trump’s recent statement regarding a strikes moratorium.
  2. Neither Russian nor Ukrainian forces made confirmed advances on September 14.
  3. Ukrainian forces continued their long-range strike campaign against Russian military assets in Krasnodar Krai overnight. Russia launched 102 drones against Ukraine overnight.

Yesterday I heard Trump saying that he did not want Ukraine to reduce Russia's supply of diesel. He was saying or suggesting that the high price of diesel was not due to his actions taken against Iran but rather due to Ukraine's strikes on Russian oil refineries and infrastructure. Since then Ukraine has attacked a Russian oil refinery in Syzran in Russia's Samara region on the Volga River.

I think that Trump is simply trying to shift blame away from himself for actions that have raised oil and refined product prices. Can a furious Trump reaction against Ukraine be expected?

Exiled Russian economist Konstantin has many information sources in Russia. He predicts that after the elections this month there will be mobilisation.

If he was any good he wouldnt be in exile.
He opposes Russia's corrupt, autocratic form of government. He is also opposed to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. What happens to people who express such views inside Russia?

People who leave Russia do not leave because they are incompetent. It was an economic problem for Russia, already short of labour, that so many competent people left Russia as a result of it invading Ukraine. Many more may leave if Russians come to believe that mobilisation is coming.

Footage shows a Russian Mi-28 helicopter employing four Kh-39 LMUR missiles during combat operations in Ukraine. The video captures strikes by Russian Kh-39 missiles on four locations serving as temporary deployment points and positions for Ukrainian army drone operators in the Kharkiv region. Strikes were carried out against the 13th Operational Assignment Brigade "Khartiya" in the village of Veseloye and the settlement of Liptsy, as well as the 3rd Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade in the settlement of Grigorovka. A strike was also conducted against drone operators from the 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade located in a building within the "Ekran" dacha settlement near the village of Dementievka.

Throughout history, it has been shown that all those who knowingly work against their homeland, in cooperation with an external enemy, do not love their country.
The reasons for betrayal are most often personal gain.

The leader of the Belarus opposition, who fled the country to be free and able to continue opposing the regime, does not love the country?

You can love your country but be driven to leave it to remain free to work against the regime running the place.
