The US side is stalling the F-16 deal because officials want to see the results of the next elections before committing to a deal. They want the next government/president to decide whether to give the project the green light.
Doubt that, project is already greenlit by a bipartisan majority of the senate, there are no more decisions to be made at the presidential level. Do post a source if sure.

Kinda stupid, they should try to lock down the deal as well as try to do everything to strengthen ties with partners before Trumps comes and tries to ruin everything in hopes that things will survive for another term before someone somewhat sensible is elected again, from US foreign policy perspective.

The AN/ALQ-257 Integrated Viper Electronic Warfare Suite (IVEWS) to be integrated into the F-16 has completed ground tests and begun flight tests. It is said that the system will provide the F-16 with electronic warfare capabilities equal to 5th generation aircraft. Turkey announced that it would procure more than 150 of these systems along with the F-16 Block 70 purchase and signed a letter of agreement with Northrop Grumman to modernize its old aircraft with IVEWS. Turkey also became the first country to procure these systems after the United States. James Conroy, vice president of navigation and targeting at Northrop Grumman, said the system could help maintain Viper reliability into the 2040s.

Northrop Grumman emphasizes that this system works seamlessly with the APG-83 SABR. The two working together without compromising the performance of the radar is quite deadly.

There is a low chance of a deal before November, which will most likely be reached by the end of this year if the new government is not openly hostile.

Unnamed sources of Bloomberg strikes again.

"Turkey is pushing for a deal with an estimated value of about €5 billion ($5.6 billion) to buy at least 20 Eurofighter warplanes with an option to double the amount, the people said, asking not to be identified because of the sensitivity of the matter."

"The Turkish government also wants to buy Meteor guided missiles and has asked for access to Eurofighters’ mission computers to integrate domestic missile systems, the people said. "

It really makes me wonder why Türkiye would be putting pressure like this. Is it simply to see if there is a breaking point where money rules and political standing gets scrapped, or is there something else behind.

Is US stalling the F16 ? Are they stalling something else and that is why we're trying for EF ?

I am not sure barking up EF because F16 being stalled is going to help at all. Because Germy is 100% aligned with the US. So unless Germany is taken out of the EF program there won't be any changes, and I am not sure the partners in EF are willing to screw each other over for Türkiye.

So in my eyes this seems like a flawed approach.

If they sign deal early next year, the jets won't arrive before 2030. (For comparison Qatar signed the deal in 2017, their first delivery was in 2022.) Not to mention Spain, Italy and Germany has already placed orders for new batches.

Wrong
The EF that Turkey would buy, at least the first 20, would be given from the inventory of the British Air Force. The British Air Force wants to retire their tranche 3 fighters but as they are in good condition with lots of life service left, they are opting to sell it to Turkey with the topping being complete transfer of the computer's mission/software codes so that Turkey can integrate whatever they want on it
Therefore, if a deal is signed early next year, Turkey may receive the EF jets by the end of the same year

These are rumors from X sites so do take it with a grwin of salt although such sites are reputable with good level of authenticity

False. There is no plan to retire any of trench 3 jets.

None of this is guaranteed. When a possible sale of EFs were first touted, at the time there was continuous back and forth between UK and TR and UK was interested in offloading their old EF T1s. But from then on, Turkish officials always mentioned new aircraft, not old ones. This 5.6 billion$ deal in question for sure is in relation to new airframes and not T1s. We don't need German approval for ex RAF T1s anyhow.

It remains to be seen whether Turkey is interested in both T1s(to test and train with) and new T4/5s, but nothing suggests so far that "the first 20" are going to be T1s.

You know, even if you are correcting what @Lool wrote it will just add to the confusion.

Just plainly ask for source since retiring Trance 3 has never been mentioned anywhere.

And Trance 1 are crap.

T3 will not be retired especially as they cut back F35 orders.

T3 will be used in the future in the British airforce until Tempest is in proper numbers for the EF to be replaced.

Turkish Airforce no longer wants surplus they want new stuff. That surplus shit is finished. You cant fight your enemies with surplus hardware.

Tolga Özbek with Simon Ward, the President of Airbus Turkey, during the Istanbul AirShow held at Atatürk Airport:

We're currently at a civilian exhibition, but I will also have questions regarding military aviation. One of the agenda items for Turkey is the Eurofighter. What is the situation from Airbus's perspective regarding Turkey?

Airbus plays a key role in the realization of the Eurofighter project. The Eurofighter is also a consortium consisting of the UK, Germany, Italy, and Spain. Besides Airbus, it includes BAE Systems and Leonardo. Each company has different responsibilities. For example, BAE Systems is responsible for finding new customers and securing contracts. Airbus is providing significant support for both the development of the project and Turkey’s role as an important partner in the Eurofighter initiative. There is also the aspect of export licenses. To overcome political issues, Airbus is providing substantial support for these efforts. We may see the Eurofighter in Turkey soon.

[...]

My last question will be about Turkey's tanker aircraft project. Last year, during our interview at IDEF, you mentioned that Airbus had proposed a tanker aircraft developed from A330neo to Turkey.

Turkey has a plan to acquire seven aircraft to renew its existing tanker fleet. The tanker aircraft project is the second most important project for the Turkish Air Force after fighter jets. This is a detailed project. We are discussing many aspects, such as new or second-hand aircraft and engine options.
