You should remember what happened with the Patriot sell.
First, they wouldn't give it to Turkey, and delayed it as much as they can.
And then, they pretend to agree to sell the Patriot batteries, but ask for ridiculous number of money, knowing it will never get through.

However, another disgusting thing called as Fulbright agreement is the reason why we don't even know about the events! In short they still control our education system (you can go and do some further reading about it by googling). Anyways, these people are not our friends, being in NATO's only benefit is saving our soil from other so called NATO alLIES. We should forget about F35 and focus on MMU like there's no tomorrow because their intentions are very ill against us my friends.
