ATOM C-RAM exists and I sent you an up-to-date link(not a 4-5 year old one i also said where i got my info from) from the official producer. But you are still denying it.

What you wrote above is mainly bullshit. There is no need for further discussion as you deny proven facts.

There is ATOM C-RAM but then MKEK is developing Phalanx like C-RAM, why? Care to explain?
Here i am explaining:
Because: 35 mm with pellets is not as effective as 20mm Armor piercing, HE single bullet against hard shell targets. It is only partially effective like MANTIS+AHEAD.

And i am telling you, that file is from original manufacturer, yes but very old. However i will be really delighted if they can produce and lease the other variants as well but probably it hasn't performed as well as they have expected and didn't attract armed forces and they have switched to a single, common ATOM 35 mm round.
Even Korhan, which is relatively new than the file you have shared, was not advertised with different ATOM rounds, but common ATOM 35mm + 35mm HEI/AP rounds.

Yes it is. It is hard to do but yes. You can pierce hard shell of a round without a full metal jacket.
READ THIS. This is from the acceptance tests.

Not saying you are wrong and different variants are very likely and logical but Aselsan ATOM pdf mentioning C-RAM and IFV suggests the naming is about shooter platform, not the 35 mm munition.

Let’s say pdf is not clear and also Aselsan should stop using “ATOM” name for other munitions if the mechanism is different.

Go to Aselsan main page click capabilities, go to the air and missile defense systems section scroll down find self-propelled and airburst munitions click it click on the 35mm airburst munition. Click on the current up-to-date fucking official advertising brochure see the different Atom variants for yourself.

Cut the crap 20mm CIWS project are for the things I mentioned. Dual 35mm cannons are heavy and lack agility for very close range very high angle of attack(close to 90 degrees) engagements. Look how Korkut and Gokdeniz CIWS move and look how Phalanx moves. At ranges >1km Gokdeniz and Korkut stops any target set with specially optimized ATOM variants. 20mm CIWS has more advantage under 1km

Air Defence
IFV
C-RAM

Are they variants of ATOM 35mm or the platform (or purpose) ATOM 35mm can be used from (for)?

Naming a munition after the platform would be strange, especially naming it ATOM ZMA.

They are variants specially optimized for mentioned target sets. Optimization is done by changing tungsten shrapnel size, amount, alignment, and dispersion area. Bigger shrapnel with a smaller dispersion area does a better job stopping hard-cased small targets while smaller shrapnel with a bigger dispersion area does a better job stopping bigger air-breathing targets.

1. Firtina 2s will be build between 2022-2027 which Powerpack will be used until UTKU Powerpack is ready ? because there was a Deal wit Caterpillar at IDEF 19.

2. 2 Types of Wheeled Howitzer are ongoing ( Aselsan Asya and MKE Yavuz ) Do you know if everything is going well because we have not heard much from them
or did they decide to go with one 1 Type.

1) Existing 1000hp europowerpacks will be used. First 3 Fırtına 2s delivered with europowerpack. 3 more will be delivered in June with the 1000hp europowerpack They were procured under the Fırtına 1 contract from the MTU

2) At the moment, there are no orders from SSB for the truck-mounted howitzers. IMHO Aselsan Asya is a step ahead compared to MKE Yavuz. Aselsan ASYA system uses a BMC truck. First tests of Yavuz conducted at Konya Karapınar firing range in 2017. After that various improvements were done to the product that includes weight reduction and a semi-automatic loading system. Asyas qualification tests were done in 2020 as far as i remember. IMHO priority is given to the FIrtına 2 project.

From 2020 SSB Catalogue
Aselsan KMO is a project to upgrade panther 155mm towed howitzer, mount on a tactical wheeled truck, jointly carried by Aselsan, Turkish Land Forces and Asfat, which also includes ADOP-2000 integration.

MKE Yavuz is an individual project for new production. Aselsan KMO -Asya is being developed to re-purpose existing panthers, in cooperation with Land forces, by request of land forces.

Which one is going to be ordered: i think it is obvious.
It is also expected that Land forces will make additional KMO orders.

Yavuz is a new product, made by MKE
Asya is upgrade of existing panther 155 mm, made by ASFAT & Aselsan.

BORAN Fire Control System qualification tests have been successfully completed.

The qualification tests of the BORAN 105mm Air Portable Light Towed Howitzer Fire Control System were successfully completed with the shots made in Konya Karapınar. BORAN Fire Control System is a fire control system developed for use in a lightweight, high firepower 105mm BORAN howitzer that can be transported from air by helicopter, towed by road.

This integrated system, which enables the preparation, fire management and fire control of the howitzer to be carried out with a computer, first speed measurement radar and inertial navigation system, also has electro-optic and laser rangefinder units that enable firing by seeing day and night. The system also provides digital integration to command control systems and fire support elements of the howitzer.

This guidance system is going to be a nice “poor man’s Excalibur.
It claims that it will give to most artillery shells a CEP of less than 50m at any range.
Roketsan is getting ready to supply these to the Turkish Land Forces.
Although our Firtina artillery with it’s current fire control system computer was giving a fairly accurate targeting capability, this guidance system that works on the basis of “air brakes” , will make our artillery rounds more accurate. So much so that they will be able to be engaged in close to residential areas in urban warfare.
Both 105mm and 155mm shells will benefit from this kit.

Of course, there is. Before you write an article you do a literature search. It is similar to that. It doesn't mean we copied it. Fuse is fuse and air brake is air brake. Their history goes way back. What really matters is the electronic section and it cant be copied.
