As part of the work carried out by the Ministry of trade, due to the epidemic conditions of artisans and artisans, credit and bail cooperatives were given the opportunity to configure TESKOMB for their overdue debts.

In this way, cash flows were provided with ease of repayment to the negatively affected trading professionals, while about 30 thousand artisans and artisans benefited from this opportunity. The total amount structured in this context was 650 million pounds.

Loan repayments obviated

You may not like the support given. However, we are not as rich as Germany or the USA. It is not clear when it will end in the epidemic. So tell me something I don't know.

We don't want the tourism season to not open at all with soaring pandemy numbers.
Good thing the government knows what is best for the nation.

Last year Turkey did a good job by implementing pandemic best practices in tourism and received a good number of tourists. Turkey has a high capacity of accommodation and we can do a good job again. But soaring numbers is a red flag. Putin stopped Russians from coming to Turkey because of high numbers. When the numbers return to acceptable tourists will flow. We need to make it happen by staying put for a couple of weeks.

Turkiye opened up too early not to mention they welcomed people from different countries.

All I can say is Turkiye is on a knifes edge they can beat corona or it can get worse.

In Australia especially melbourne for months we were in lockdown. Still took a toll on everybody including the economy.

Australia and Turkeys economy is different as Australia is a developed one no doubt they can take the hit while Turkeys economy is fragile which means the lockdown can cost them big.

Yeah, filling sport complexes "lebaleb" with people during the pandemic is really best thing for the nation or attending the funeral of some religious guy.

Honestly at the start, Turkey did a good job in trying to contain corona the investments in hospitals and medical has really paid off well.

Not to mention the early use of masks while not fully closing the economy.

But it seems months has past and people got laxed about it or got over it.

Turkey has too many people living close together you also have people not following the rules same for politicians with their stupid gatherings.

Respect to the Turks for helping their elders and keeping them safe instead of locking them up in nursery homes.

My grandmother and aunty lived close to a nursery home. What happened there was tragic to say the least the old people there died you had 5 people die in a single day then next day it happened.

Sad thing about this whole corona thing is how old people died off. You have many who shrugged it off. Well they are old who cares
Sad to say the least.

Society dies off when people lose respect for their elders.

Turkish exporters voice concern over trouble finding containers, ships

Turkish exporters have once again expressed their concerns at not being able to find containers and ships available for transport, a crunch that has been hampering trade recovery.
The shipping sector has been struggling for months with disruptions caused by the coronavirus pandemic and a surge in demand for retail goods that led to wider logistical bottlenecks around the world.
A severe vessel crunch has led to a squeeze on shipping containers and has pushed up costs to unprecedented highs recently and hampered the orders of goods.
Scores of problems have arisen for exporters in global trade due to the outbreak, especially in the field of logistics, Adil Pelister, the head of Turkey’s Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (IKMIB), said Wednesday.
Turkish exporters have recently called for the establishment of a local fleet of shipping containers.

Saying that the chemical sector is Turkey’s second-largest exporting sector, Pelister stressed that 79.1% of the country’s exports are done by maritime transport, 17.6% by road transport and 3.5% by other means.
“Apart from other issues, we face a problem in ports slowing down their work due to the pandemic,” he added.
The chemical industry has proved crucial for Turkey’s exports as it has long been ranking second in overall sales just behind automotive.
Some $18.26 billion (TL 148 billion) worth of chemical products were exported throughout 2020, according to the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TIM).
“Our sector has the second-highest exports in Turkey. Here we should also add that the sector contributes to many other industries by providing raw materials and semi-finished products,” Pelister noted.
The sector’s sales hit $5.3 billion from January through March of this year, surging by 13.8% year-on-year.
Despite the pandemic, Turkish exports went on to hit an all-time monthly high for the fourth straight month in March.
Sales soared by 42.2% year-on-year in the month to $18.98 billion, according to TIM data.
The March figure followed record-high figures in December, January and February when sales reached around $17.8 billion, $15 billion and $16 billion, respectively.
The coronavirus pandemic led to a 6.26% drop in 2020 exports as Turkey closed the year with $169.5 billion in foreign sales, exceeding the target of $165.9 billion in the medium-term program.
Imports were up 4.3% to reach $219.4 billion. The trade deficit widened by 69.12% to $49.9 billion last year.
The country looks to achieve a year-end target of $184 billion, up from $169.5 billion in 2020.
Istanbul and Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, Black Sea Regions (IMEAK) Maritime Chamber of Commerce Chairperson Tamer Kıran said, looking in terms of tonnage, nearly 89% of Turkey’s foreign trade is being made via sea.
Shipping and the continuation of the supply chain are indispensable for the Turkish economy, Kıran noted.

According to the IMF report, Turkey is among the countries that support citizens least financially during the pandemic.

Erdogan announced today that they will distribute 30 thousand to 75 thousand TL interest-free loans to small businesses. I think some of us live in parallel worlds.

Are you serious. I shared this yesterday. And this is a credit package announced today. Doesn't make falsify the news I shared. It's obvious who is living in a parallel universe.

The government's support is obvious. I still think you live in a parallel universe. By the way, the infographic belongs to the year 2020.

Bunch of lies and propaganda as usual. Most of these stuff never happened.

But you can't fool the people by producing and believeing in your lies. One of the biggest reasons AKP+MHP dropped to %40 in the polls.

Let me give you a real thing. Government banned media from showing poverty suicides in their news.
