Yeah in a defence forum, there is people only talks about economy but nothing on defence.
thats bcoz the fanboys of both sides are trying to show who is the better knower of everything. u can critize smth no problem, but if they begin to be respectless, no need for respecting them also. if u see, there is no niveau, u can be sure there is no need to discuss with this trolls. they will not hear u. so better dont show them attention.

Wanted to see which are the other big countries in the exports of fish products. Turkey is still very far away from the rest of the big players but it will be very hard to reach them for a few reasons:

They are all nations with access to the world oceans and/or tropical nations with huge water resources. Turkey is surrounded on all sides by seas but both the Black sea, Marmara and the Mediterranean are poor in fish resources due to being exploited by humans for thousands of years... plus they just aren’t as rich as the Atlantic or the Pacific. Still every single dam and sea should be used for sea farming.

Thankfully we are not landlocked to be honest.

Being landlocked has to be worst thing ever. Imagine all that economic potential being lost due to geography or geopolitics.

You're too pessimistic, brother.

-----

At present, Norway exports seafood to 149 countries in the world. A little over 70% of the seafood export value is represented by farmed fish species (Atlantic salmon, and sea trout), amounting to €6.6 billion, about 95% of farmed salmon is exported.

Why am I pessimistic when I only tell the truth.
You give example with Norway but that is a country with a population of 5.5 million compared to Turkey’s 85 million so much more of what they produce can be exported abroad.

Their coastline is multiple times longer than that of Turkey+ the place is full of islands, fjords and bays which are perfect for fish farms.
Also they are located in the North Atlantic which is much more richer in fish than Turkey’s waters. That’s one of the reasons Norwegians to be an old sea faring nation with lots of traditions in fishing.
