I can’t wait to see these boats in operational inventory. They will be such force multipliers that soon after, special platforms that are assigned to launch and control only these boats, will be built.
BTW , I love the look of those torpedoes. They look like passengers itching to jump out of their seats!

Aselsan's distributed aperture surveillance system just completes the whole unmanned vibe for me, gonna be a beauty seeing dozens of these sailing with Turkish armada 😎

Also, wonder if they could implement some sort of low power mode - ghost boats out in open seas for multiple days observing surface and underwater.

Only maximum range was given in brochures :), we can be sure these boats can spend days at the sea. It will use high power mode during deployment, low power mode while towing sonar or using other instruments.
Sole limiting factor is fuel, nothing else.

Further note after a month; these vessels will have submarine intercept sonar which is actually a passive system and probably a transducer able to pulse/chirp. Will have active/passive modes resting at sea literally with zero noise. Real submarine hunters. Sonobuoys will also benefit from this pulses to detect submarines in an area.

Its amazing how such small and cheap boats can carry such a big punch and possess danger to ships costing hundreds of millions of dollars. I can't wait to see them in inventory and the full concept in operation in integrated and coordinated way.

MILDEN

While there are two PEM Fuel Cell modules with a capacity of 120kW each (240 kilowatts in total) in the REIS Class, a gross power capacity of more than 350kW is targeted for MİLDEN within the scope of the Submarine Propulsion System Components Development Project. It is planned to achieve this goal with the domestic design and production 6 Fuel Cell modules. According to the information we have obtained, a prototype Fuel Cell module will be developed and produced with national facilities in the first phase of the project and will be delivered to SSB for tests. After the tests, if the product is successful, mass production of 6 Fuel Cell modules suitable for the needs will be made.

According to the scale model, which is located in the MILDEN Design Project Office and resembles the Soryu Class submarines in the service of the Japanese Navy, it is different from the AY, PREVEZE, GÜR and REIS Class submarines, which are currently in service with single compartment and cigar-shaped forms. It will have a multi-compartment vessel form in the form of a "tear drop". In the MILDEN model, the head horizon rudder is placed on both sides of the tower, which is called sail, in order to be close to the center of gravity of the rudders, and the control surfaces at the stern have "X", which is a cross rudder design instead of "+", unlike the AY, PREVEZE, GÜR and REİS Class submarines and towed. It is noteworthy that there is a fixed tube for the sonar at the stern as in the A-26 and Collins Class submarines. MİLDEN will have at least 6 heavy torpedo tubes 533mm in diameter and one 650mm diameter SAS / SAT extraction station for underwater SAT / SAS Team operation. Again, starting from the MİLDEN Model, I think that a shaft and shrouded screw will be used in the submarine (although it resembles the pumpjet type propulsion system at first glance, a shrouded screw consisting of a simpler 6 or 7 bladed propeller will be used in submarines. It is possible to say that) will take place. In the 'shrouded screw' drive system configuration, the submarine's multi-blade propeller rotates in a cylindrical casing, thus reducing cavitation.

The official opening of the MİLDEN Design Project Office, which will pre-design the MİLDEN Submarine, was held in the summer of 2020. According to the information we have obtained, the Office will carry out studies for the Concept Design of MİLDEN until 2023. As of the second half of 2023, it is expected that the studies for the Detail Design and Construction Phase will be started.

After the move for all OtoMelara 76 mm guns on our ships having Aselsan TAKS fire control system for pin point accuracy, the 127mm guns in Barbaros Class are having the same TAKS system adapted for this caliber. This will enable engagement of surface targets more accurately and also will give the ships to engage air targets too.

Smart buoy system I’ve mentioned it several times. It’d be more permanent surveillance system. Expand and or build and island big enough to function as outpost with transmitters, and well you could extend the reach or ylaq that way too

These are specs of the Pakistani Milgem and Turkish Istanbul Frigate:

Are we selling them Milgem Corvettes or Istanbul Class frigates?
Tonnage of the ships are almost identical. Length is only 5m shorter. Draft is the same. I wonder what sort of weapons they will carry compared to our Milgem Corvettes? I hear there is even a 700km range cruise missile on board the Pakistani ship.

Istanbul class's table belongs to the TCG Istanbul.
PN Milgem is derivated from Ada Class, but differently from Istanbul Class it is more based in Ada Class, and they have customised the equipments as they liked thus the tonnage increased.

Please move this post to casual discussion section after reading.

I had a little experience with a gyro system when I was working on a cargo ship many years back. Our gyro gets broken / spins frantically on our way to somewhere in western Europe. Company instruct the captain to write a letter to the agent to prepare for repairs. But they add that the letter be so worded that the problem is downplayed in an effort to affect the cost of repair. The captain lacking the intricate language skills has no other option but to resort to my person for clues for something that is supposed to be above my pay grade. It is not that I wouldn't be normally useful in this case but it was when our new young captain and I had some sour relationships lately after a misunderstanding.

Being on the same ship I would rather help the captain get the gyro fixed at once ensuring the safety of the ship and the people living on it. So I tell him the word to use to downplay the broken gyro's problem. He looks up the word in his dictionary but can not find it. Not being reassured whether the word is right he still uses the word. Technician comes, gyro gets fixed but I don't know if we got away with lesser costs or not as the captain used the word but in a slightly different way that the ideal. Anyway I had remembered the word from the movie series "Knight Rider", the smart car's name is KITT. Can you figure out the word I recommended the Captain to use?

And that's about the Barbaros and Gabya upgrade?
