This is rather interesting: according to a Ukranian TB2 operator, they see a TB2 being shot by a Russian S300 AD system. They are dismayed over losing the TB2. But the plane makes an automatic landing back to it’s designated airport 2 hours later with loads of holes on the airframe. They mend the TB2 and re use it successfully.
This is not the only time apparently; Another TB2 returned back home 2 hours after it was shot by a Russian fighter’s a2a missile.
Somehow it is as if these planes seem to have a self EW capability against missiles that are targeting them.
I agree, S-300 missiles should have exploded very far away from the TB-2 to not damage it enough, EW pod makes sense

internal EW, does the TB-2 have enough energy for that?
It should only be powerful enough to jam the RF seeker of the missile in a very short distance. Therefore, can be possible! But TB2 should be able to be aware of the incoming missile.

Do I understand it correctly? These are 7 new serial produced Akincis, bringing the total number up to 13?

S9 was in the video. So we know that at least 9 has been serially produced

Exactly, some people say that it is a SOM-J but the SOM-J has the intakes to the side.

Thanks for the detailed post

Akıncı will launch SOM-J with a rocket booster, SOM A/B/C wont be integrated most likely.
