Why don't you go to a bank?
There is always some risk in doing RD and you want to share the risk with investors. Otherwise you can lose your livelihood while trying to do more.

"Ever wonder how Bayraktar TB2 drones locate enemy Air Defense systems in the first place, before visually spotting them? Meet BSI-101 ELINT-COMINT !"

I just wonder is "BSI-101 ELINT-COMINT" main purpose to locate enemy Air Defense systems?

Anyone with knowledge can enlighten us?
I don't know but sometimes those magazines just make things up for "likes" and "fame" (according to magazine article they concluded TB-2 finds radars with this device and it was their discovery after investigation..of the public catalog of Baykar... open source investigation is good but it's just a guess, not a fact). The specs does not mention anything about direction finding or interferometry. Looks like the device is a receiver for signal/comm intelligence but maybe in theory it can be used as a crude tool to identify radar threats in the area and maybe multiple TB-2s can pinpoint a source.

Edit: Similar to the magazine article, there are newspaper articles from 2016 mentioning direction finding with multiple inputs, but I could not find any official information about this

Google translate :
We continue to develop and produce systems that can meet all needs, from mini UAV to unmanned combat aircraft.
Bayraktar Mini UAV, the first step of our national UAV adventure, is ready to serve our security forces with its new features!
I am wondering what improvements they made over the earlier variants. In terms of technical specifications and capabilities it is very close to the RQ-20 Puma which is in the inventory of the Special Forces Command. Both have 15km communication range and 2 hours endurance with the difference that Bayraktar Mini is more compact but 5-10kts slower. I wonder if they added automatic land capability and how it compares to RQ-20 Puma in terms of EO payload.

It was already told from the beginning that it will be a target drone by Temel Kotil but people keep speculating. The first UCAV that we will probably see is the MIUS of Baykar. And the second one can be an unmanned Hürjet with all the bells and whistles.

Here, you should watch it one more time. Temel Kotil is comparing Goksungur with Aksungur, in his interview. So it Not a target drone.

He states, Aksungur's R&D proces took 18 months and After that, They started on Goksungur. So It still is too early for Göksungur even if They secured turbofan/turbojet engine. And I am not so sure TAI would opt for Ukranien engine. My guess is They might choose something commercially available like PW300, If They change their supersonic decision. Until then Engine is mystery. But Also Stated in another interview that TAI isnt deveoping UAV with jet engine.

Edit; I should add, There is a rumor engine is Ukranien Al-25 But I'm still expecting Western Engine for This UAV.

Or it could be the AI-222-25. It has an afterburner so it could accelerate the Goksungur to supersonic speeds.

I think this should be used more extensively. Especially when soldiers are at the operation. Unfortunately, there were ambushes during the advancement of the units. This would decrease the chance of an ambush.

This is huge! what does it mean?
PG115 or 155 ? who knows.
Some people has referred to PG155 (not 115) but i am not sure if it is confused with PD155 ,or it is an actual gas engine used on Herons.

I asked google, google said;
A 2-blade propeller produces two pressure pulses per revolution, whereas a 3-blade propeller will produce three smaller pulses per revolution for the same amount of total thrust. As a result, the 3-blade prop will be inherently smoother and therefore quieter.

True, but I wondered whether the TB2 was equipped with a Turkish engine instead of the Rotax?
