I don't know but sometimes those magazines just make things up for "likes" and "fame" (according to magazine article they concluded TB-2 finds radars with this device and it was their discovery after investigation..of the public catalog of Baykar... open source investigation is good but it's just a guess, not a fact). The specs does not mention anything about direction finding or interferometry. Looks like the device is a receiver for signal/comm intelligence but maybe in theory it can be used as a crude tool to identify radar threats in the area and maybe multiple TB-2s can pinpoint a source.



Edit: Similar to the magazine article, there are newspaper articles from 2016 mentioning direction finding with multiple inputs, but I could not find any official information about this

Until then Engine is mystery. But Also Stated in another interview that TAI isnt deveoping UAV with jet engine.

Some people has referred to PG155 (not 115) but i am not sure if it is confused with PD155 ,or it is an actual gas engine used on Herons.
