Technically yes, sufficient airflow is needed to start turbojet.Sorry for the dumb question.
But does a cruise missile need a minimum velocity to be dropped from a plane?
Even a mock-up was not seen.Göksungur will be introduced this year?
20000ft altitude, 12 MAM-L munition and 28h duration...
If the Armed Forces decides to not buy the Aksungur i will be so pissed !
Thats the logical thing. I heard some rumors about it. In hindsight those rumors never had any proof anyway but i cant be certain either. They will buy both the Aksungur and Akinci, I'm sure of that. The Aksungur will most probably be cheaper to use because of its diesel engines.

I wonder if the control systems are similar, it would be a very nice thing if they were. Also I hope if we are going to replace our tb2 fleet that it'll be 1-to-1 so we get over 100+ Aksungur.
TB2 can be sold as battle proven 2nd hand to our allies, or used for training new generations of TSK drone warriors. Tunesia might be intered in some of them.
The TB2 are going nowhere. They have foreign parts that need permission to export. The TB2 production rate has been ordered to be doubled to 96 units per year. It is going to be too expesinve to even think to replace these new drones, let alone on a one-on-one basis.
Expect 24 Akinici's and 12 Aksungur production rate per year.
